Adrian tyrrell: You're predicted to get a poor signal from Carmel, with no other possible transmitters listed. You would be better off looking at getting Freesat.

All BBC channels have pixelated images and breaks in sound on Freeview from Carmel.. no other stations are affected. Appears that mux1 stations BBC stations have the problem for the last 2 days..

Lynn Samuel:
Despite recent engineering work, Carmel transmitter is operating normally. I suspect you may have a problem with your aerial connections so please check all the cables for damage or water ingress. Then unplug all coaxial connections and refit. Then check that you are tuned to the correct channels for the multiplexes and that your signal strengths are between 60% and 85%,

I have no Freeview signal at all on any TV in the house. Message displayed on all TVs is 'Missing or weak signal'.
All TVs run off individual aerials in loft and locally in rooms. I have checked all connections and reset does not work as no channels can be found.
Postcode is SA32 7AS, local transmitter is Carmel which currently reports no faults or engineering work.

Both of you should have no trouble receiving the Carmel transmitter after retuning BUT if you do not have a Group T/Wideband aerial (old group was C/D) then you may struggle with some of the multiplexes on the low channels.
