Has your signal returned now? An Automatic Retune when there is loss of signal usually results in loss of channels, it's best to wait until signals return. The only time this doesn't apply is when there has been a change of UHF Channels (a retune event as there was on July 17th) as part of the 700Mhz clearance where you are generally notified by on-screen messages in the days just before the change.
Depending on your location your may currently suffer loss of signals due to weather conditions affecting propagation of signals resulting in interference and loss of signal.

As mention in the post previous to yours, PBS America is on the COM8 multiplex (LCN91) see Digital UK | Channel listings
It depends which transmitter you are receiving as to whether it has COMs 7&8.
If you put your postcode into Digital UK - Coverage checker it will give you which transmitters and multiplexes are available and the predicted reception at your location.

Those two channels are on the ArqA multiplex (UHF C24 at Caradon Hill). Put your postcode unto Digital UK - Coverage checker to see the transmitters you might receive and the predicted reception at your location. Do check your TV tuning to see that you are correctly tuned to the UHF channels for Caradon Hill.
Are you having problems with any other channels (LCNs) on the ArqA multiplex? see Digital UK | Channel listings
Please also note that reception of all multiplexes may be subject to interference due to the current weather & propagation conditions.

There are no current reported problems at the transmitter. I would check all your connections by unplugging your coax leads, inspecting them and plugging them in again - this should help clear any dirty connections. How long is it since the problem started?
Are there any other sets receiving signals from the same aerial, and are they all ok?

Without some more details, it's difficult to provide much constructive advice as it depends which transmitter you are receiving and when you lost the signals. Put your postcode into Digital UK - Coverage checker to see what transmitters you might receive and what the predicted reception is for your location.
Try doing an automatic retune, first with the aerial unplugged to clear all previous tuning information, then with the aerial plugged back in and see if this restores you channels.

Yes, the BBCA multiplex will be on UHF Channel 31, the D3&4 mux on C32, the BBCB mux (HD) on C37. You may need a change of aerial to receive them satisfactorily, it was aerial group C/D and is now group A.

True Entertainment has been moved by Sony to Local multiplexes, if you haven't done a full retune since 17th July then you should do one - first do an automatic scan with the aerial unplugged to clear all previous tuning, then try an automatic scan with it plugged back in. The Local (Bristol) Mux from Mendip is on UHF C30, if you don't get it using an automatic scan, try a manual scan for the channel. However predicted reception at your location - put your postcode into Digital UK - Coverage checker shows that the Local mux reception is "Marginal" so you may not get it steadily at all times. You will probably also need a Group T / Wideband aerial to satisfactorily receive all muxes from Mendip. Old group was C/D.
Note, because of current weather/propagation conditions you may experience interference or lack of reception of several muxes, so may need to retune when conditions are more stable if you lose channels on a given retune.
