A while back I suggested that Help | Freeview was a page worth keeping an eye on. There is this announcement Help | Freeview
Whether any of these changes include a move back to a main mux may remain to be seen as the previous announcement about changes wasn't exactly clear that many channels were moving to local muxes.

Some info I had previously missed which may explain why a number of people are having periodic reception problems of the Local Bristol mux (LBS/LOC1), that is at the last retune when it was moved from UHF51 to 30 the Power (ERP) was reduced from 10kW to 5kW. This certainly won't have helped anyone still using a group C/D aerial (even an enhanced one) which would already be struggling to get any signal on UHF30.

Also note that at the last retune event when COM7 moved to UHF55, the Power (ERP) was reduced from 72kW to 61kW. COM8 & the other main multiplexes were unaffected by power changes.
As many have already noted & commented, the channel and power information on this page may be/is not up-to-date.

Has your reception returned? Is it just loss of programme or is it loss of signal as well? OK here, what transmitter are you receiving?

There is a bit of tropospheric propagation around at present meaning you may be getting interference from other transmitters as signals travel further. If your signals haven't returned, if you provide your postcode we can look at the predicted reception at your location.

If you haven't moved since last year, you should have no reception problems from Sandy Heath under normal conditions. If problems persist, check all your coax connections (unplug them, check they are clean etc., plug them in again) and check your aerial is intact and hasn't moved in any wind.

According to About us | Freeview Pontop Pike is your best transmitter. As a result of the retune event that has just taken place, if you have old C/D group aerials then you could well be struggling with reception of lower powered channels on the lower end of the spectrum, as you have mentioned C33 & C34.
Also the BBCA multiplex now on C32 has it's power reduced slightly from 100kW to 90kW so if you have any problems with that one, you MAY find the multiplex still simulcasting on C58 (as has happened at some other old C/D group transmitters when the change happens) until the next retune event in November - when it's all change again!!
Bilsdale also has a retune event In November with some multiplexes moving, but all the Pontop Pike multiplexes move (PSB1/BBCA moves up to C39), others move down BUT all the main 6 muxes have power increases to 100kW. COMs 7&8 however reduce power to 19kW, though you should have no problems with reception with the CORRECT aerial - you are going to need a Group T (Wideband) aerial. BUT if you do not have Satellite or Cable TV, you can get free help for a new aerial - contact the Freeview Advice line on 0808-100-0288.

I can confirm that according to DigitalUK, there was no power reduction for the COMs 7&8 muxes when the retune event took place. As far as complaining goes, OFCOM & Arqiva but, I would point out that the COMs 7&8 multiplexes are only temporary and are due to close between 2020 & 2022 as 5G take up happens. It would seem that as the COMs 7&8 muxes are SFNs (single frequency networks) sharing the same UHF channels around the country, it means that there will be some interference from time to time.. Experience to date seems to be single strength appears lower and signal quality can be variable during times of increased propagation (night time occasionally and dependant on weather conditions at others).

Have you & your neighbour retuned? There was a retune event on Thursday 12th as part of the What is 700MHz clearance? | Freeview where the BBCA/PSB1 multiplex moved to UHF Channel 32. You should have seen on-screen messages in the days leading upto the retune.
In your location you may not have any problems with the retune even if you have an old C/D group aerial, see About us | Freeview
If however you are having problems due to an old aerial you are going to need a Group T (Wideband) aerial. Providing you don't have Satellite or Cable TV you can get free help by contacting the Freeview Advice line on 0808-100-0288
There will be another retune event on 13th November when all the multiplexes are moving to new UHF channels.

Keep it Country has closed on Freeview to be replaced by Spotlight TV which is only receivable on the Manchester Local multiplex. See Channel listings | Freeview
Spotlight TV is available on Sky, Freesat and streamed if you have a smart tv via Freeview channel 264. See What Happened To FreeView? - Spotlight TV
