William Hill:
As the transmitter was not on low poaer, you must check your aerial sysytem and connections. Poor contact will cause problems with just one frequency.

Jane Bruce:
There are no reported problems at the transmiiter else many thousands would also be reporting such. So you could either have a fault in your aerial cables or connections, else be suffering from atmospheric conditions causing reception problems. There is nothing you can do about thet so DO NOT RETUNE. Please give a full post code so that we can check the expected reception conditions at your location.

Please can you check what the signal strength is as repoirted by that TV set. You can usually find that on the manual tuning option - but do not retune.
Some sets have rather sensitive tuners that do not respond well to too strong a signal, so the usual advice is to aim for no more than 85% strengths on all the multiplexes. Other makes may have a less sensitive tuner so are less affected by too much signal.

Scope:
It is not a problem at the transmitter that serves almost 1m people and few are experiencing the problems you report. It is far more likely that the current atmospheric conditions are causing the problem so DO NOT RETUNE. There is nothing anyone can do about the effects of atmospheric high pressure.

DO NOT RETUNE your TV as it is not a fault in the TV nor the transmitter. The current weather patterns appear to be affecting many viewers due to the high pressure systems. There is nothing anyone can do about that as it is a perfectly natural phenomenon.

It is due to the engineering work being done at the Findon transmitter as listed above and below your posting. DO NOT RETUNE.

High pressure can affect just one channel, so no surprise there. COM7 and COM8 are temporary services and are likely to disappear around 2022, the channels they carry are likely to be added to other multiplexes as more start to use the DVB-T2 encoding that can carry more channels and provide HD coverage.
A signal strength of 100% is likely to give rise to some unexpected reception problems, especially if your TV has a sensitive tuner. The usual advice is to ensure your signal strengths are not above 85%.

There has been engineering work at the transmitter. You should NOT retune while that is being done as you will loose the channels that were correctly tuned already.
