J L Walker:

As you have not given a full post code we cannot look up whther the transmitter you are using has any local multiplexes, which is where True Entertainment are now broadcast. If your transmitter has not got any local services, most do not have, then you will not get those channels. If you are too far away from the transmitter, again you will be unlikely to get those channels as they would be broadcast on a lower power service than the main channels.

anthony minchella:

Please read the comments made by several of us contributors about this. They are available mainly on the True Entertainment pages.

Without a full post code we are unavble to look up whether you would receive any of the local multiplexes now used for True Entertainment.

I get mine daily, at about 2015. It all depends on how you set up ther email options on this website.

We can only offer suggestions if you give a full poist code so that we can examine the expected reception at your location and also determine which of the over 1100 transmitters covers that area.

Chris,SE:

As he has 'line of sight' of the transmitter, I wanted to see how close he is. I used to live in the East midlands and had 'line of sight' of the Waltham transmitter - but was 21 miles away! Last year we rented a cottage in the North York Moors and had 'line of sight' of the Bilsdale transmitter - 27 miles away! But 'line of sight' could also be interpreted as being a mile or so, in which case he could be too close and have too much signal. That's why it is important to have an indication of the distance from the source.

So please encourage people asking for our advice to provide a full post code so we can get a clear picture of the situation.

As previously stated many, many times, True Entertainment has been mioved to the local multiplexes. As you have not given a full post code, only co-ordinates, we cannot tell you whether the transmitter you use has any local multiplexes.

This website is not like any 'social media' forum as it is intended to allow contributors to ask questions of a more technical nature about their TV receptiopn, etc. Therefore it does not act like a forum as you are apparently expecting.

Please check all your aerial connections, looking for any damage or water ingress. Also unplug any coaxial plugs/sockets and refit.

Then check the signal strengths for all the multiplexes available.

MIHAI :

The changes to the channels used at Crystal Palace means that you now need a wideband aerial instead of the original Group A type as that is very poor at the higher channels numbers, such as Channels 55 and 56.

If you contact Freeview on 0808 100 0288 and they may offer you a free replacement erial as long as you do not have cable or satellite services alongside Freeview.
