Stephen Singer.Difficult to say without a full postcode preferably,or at least a nearby location as such,to ascertain whether the refurbished Humax PVR-9150T set-top box as you specified in your earlier post is at fault,or whether you are getting your signals actually from Crystal Palace main mast or a relay mast as such.Is your aerial horizontal or vertical polarisation and if so is it a group A aerial (tipped red) or a group W wideband aerial (tipped black).

Mike James,Bognor Regis.Film 4 is on the ArqB multiplex from Rowridge transmitter on frequency/channel 28.Try again by manually scanning if you have this option as such for frequency/channel 28 it should come in.

Pompeygeorge. Before you smash your TV's screen with a brick, these pop ups possibly could relate to a retune event concerning Sandy Heath transmitter when the only presently lower powered 20 kw Mux A multiplex on that mast on frequency 31 is forever switched off and replaced finally by a new higher powered 170kw SDN multiplex on frequency 51 in the early hours of Wednesday 9 May 2012.
Dont ask me why,but others elsewhere in the UK have had pop ups as you stated above relating to pop ups/retune events which sometimes is unrelated to the mast you are on.You may have to put up with it,for a short time though, better than forking out hundreds or thousands of pounds to either repair your TV screen which you smashed in frustration concerning pop ups or buying a new TV altogether as a result.
Be patient, hopefully once digital switchover is completed in the UK after Wednesday 24 October 2012 you wont be getting frustrated any more about these pop ups.

Andrew,Steyning.Yes that is correct in what you have now specified relating to the lower signal strength DSO commecial multiplexes on Midhurst main transmitter you are currently experiencing with.
Currently SDN on 10kw,ArqA on 5kw and ArqB on 1kw,SDN multiplex is now already broadcasting on its final 10kw power output, while ArqA and ArqB ultimately will increase in power to 10kw apiece also their final power output around possibly Wednesday 27 June 2012 when the last three remaining South East England main transmitters,Heathfield (DSO1 Wednesday 30 May 2012,DSO2 completed Wednesday 13 June 2012),Bluebell Hill and Dover (DSO1 Wednesday 13 June 2012,DSO2 completed Wednesday 27 June 2012) complete both their analogue TV/lower powered pre-digital TV switch off/and their post higher powered digital TV switch on takes effect.
You may have to wait until around Wednesday 27 June 2012 for the commercial multiplexes to increase strength to 10kw altogether their final outputs to receive all the channels you are hopefully waiting for.

Mark Butler,Surbiton. One possibility could be you may have too much signal as you reside not far from the Crystal Palace mast itself. The symptoms of too much signal is often similar as you described in your earlier post to one of a very poor signal itself in a poor reception area.Either try a set-top aerial or fit an attenuator to decrease the signal strength as such.

Christopher,Pontypridd. It is possible but probably unlikely you will be able to amplify the weak Wenvoe signal you mentioned in your earlier post !
