Tony Rodwell: Brightstone only serves 800 homes so it wouldn't be viable for commercial broadcasters such as UKTV who operate Dave, Really, Yesterday etc to broadcast from transmitters with such small coverage.

David Thomson: There is currently a notice of possible weak signal from Redruth due to engineering work. Do not attempt to retune, signal levels will return to normal when the work is completed.

Gill: This website is for technical help with TV and radio reception problems and is independent of any broadcaster. There are links to watch online via the channels own website which can be found at the top of each channel's page on this site (for channels where such a facility exists).

A Fraser: There have been no reported faults or recent engineering work at Rosemarkie. If the problem is affecting various separate households I would suggest reporting it to the BBC (see link below).

Leandra Ogle: I would suggest you try contacting the owners of Bid TV to ask their future plans. This website is independent and is not associated with any broadcaster.

Leslie Dyche: Made in Birmingham is a relaunch of the former Big Centre TV local channel. If you could receive that you will also be able to receive Made in Birmingham as there have been no technical changes to the channel.

Leslie Dyche: Go to the manual tuning screen on your TV and select C29 then wait a few seconds and you should see signal and quality levels appear. If signal and quality are good select the option to scan the frequency or add channels and it should add Made in Birmingham along with True Crime, True Christmas and Kix to your channel list.

All free TV channels in the UK
Monday 21 November 2016 12:15PM

Mark Excell: Dave is a subscription cannel on satellite, it's only a free channel on Freeview. If you just want the free channels on satellite you don't need a Sky subscription when Freesat is available at a one off cost for the box and installation of the dish and cabling (although if the property has previously had Sky you can just reuse the dish and cabling to connect a Freesat box as both services receive the free channels from the same group of satellites).

Map of all DAB transmitters

Phil Blake: The current DAB expansion programs for both BBC national and local DAB multiplexes are due to be completed by the end of this year. New transmitters often aren't announced until they are on air.

Andy: iPlayer will be blocked from outside the UK regardless of the device you are using to access it. The other catchup players almost certainly will too as the UK broadcasters don't hold the rights to show most programs in other countries.
