Mark A.: Presumably that was the pre-agreed plan for a major royal death. I agree that simulcasting or closing channels for that long does seem excessive, but for an event which has only taken place once or twice each decade is it really that big a deal when most people have access to dozens of other channels on Freeview or hundreds on satellite/cable which were mostly still running their normal schedule to choose from instead, not to mention iPlayer and other catchup services?

Martin Barber: There are 2 DAB multiplexes carrying BBC Radio Leeds, the Leeds mux and the Bradford & Huddersfield mux. If you are receiving both, you should also find 2 versions of some other stations, such as Greatest Hits Radio/GHR which helpfully has different labels for each version (I taking this info from DAB Ensembles WorldWide | UK Local & Small-Scale as I'm nowhere near Yorkshire). If you are only receiving GHR Leeds then you only have the Leeds mux, whereas if you can also receive GHR West Yorkshire then you also have the Bradford mux and should therefore be able to receive both versions of BBC Radio Leeds (unhelpfully both have the same label).
If you put your full postcode into Postcode checker - Digital Radio UK it will show you all of the stations which are predicted to be receivable at your location.

rob.S: Are you looking for West Country SD or HD? ITV have removed a number of SD regions from satellite so if you are using an SD box you will left with either Central, Meridian, London, Granada, Wales, Border Scotland, Channel Islands, UTV or STV. ITV now broadcast all regions in HD, except Channel Islands and Border Scotland. If your Sky box has a viewing card, it should get the correct BBC/ITV region for the viewing card's postcode automatically (even if the subscription has been cancelled).

rob STRATTON: The ITV SD satellite changes only took place this week. If it's a HD box it will have a HDMI socket on the back so it's easy to check. If it's an SD box then you won't be able to get ITV West Country SD as it has been removed from satellite. If you do have an SD box, perhaps consider upgrading to a Sky HD box which can be found for next to nothing on eBay or Facebook Marketplace etc.

Chris.SE: Sky boxes pick up their regions from the postcode programmed on the viewing card (which can be updated remotely by Sky customer services), it's Freesat boxes which select their region by the viewer entering their postcode during initial setup. If Rob has an old SD box ITV Westcountry will not be available as the region is now only broadcast in HD on satellite.

DAVID: There are two versions of BBC Radio Leeds on DAB, allowing programmes to be split between the Leeds multiplex and the Bradford & Huddersfields mulitplex (I believe that until recently both muxes carried the same programming) so you may need to retune/rescan your DAB radio to update your station list.
Huddersfield Town have some info on their website:

Elaine Margaret McGarry: You would have to ask Sky (who own Pick TV) as this is an independent technical help website which has no connection with any broadcaster (it's very unlikely that any "TV people" as you put it will see your comment here), nor does it have any influence over which programmes are shown on any channel, or any information about future broadcast schedules (beyond what is available in published TV listings).

Gill Setterfield: ITV4 +1 has moved to Freesat channel 118, after ITV Be +1 was removed from satellite last week.

Ian: The BBC have recently announced that every BBC region in England will be available in HD by the end of 2022. As BBC One HD and ITV HD are broadcast on the same multiplex (PSB3 which is operated by the BBC) it is very likely that you will get the correct version of ITV HD for your region at the same time. ITV have already launched HD versions of all their regions (apart from Border Scotland and Channel Islands) on satellite and cable so ITV should already have most of the infrastructure in place ready to launch those regions in HD on Freeview once the BBC are ready.
