Garry: Premier Sport is a pay TV channel and is not available on Freeview. If you actually mean FreeSports, it is on the COM8 multiplex (along with BBC Four HD & Quest HD) which is predicted to have good reception from Wenvoe at your postcode.

BBC Four HD

R Murchie: The only channels being lost are those on the temporary multiplexes, which were always due to close in the next few years anyway. Some of those channels may move to one of the permanent COM multiplexes.

Movies4Men

john davies: Sony (who own Movies4Men and the True channels) have decided to reduce the coverage of some of their channels on Freeview. No one else can say whether they will increase their coverage again in future.

Anne McGowan: Have you checked for any loose or damaged cables or connections behind your TV and YouView box? Please provide a full postcode so that we can see the predicted coverage at your location. Retuning when you suddenly loose signal is never a good idea as you are deleting all of your correctly tuned channels and searching for them again, which will never fix a weak signal.

Jean Reynolds: Radio Scotland has never been broadcast from any DAB transmitter in England. If you were receiving it on DAB anywhere in England then it was probably by some freak chance. Does your radio connect to wifi by any chance? If so, you were probably listening via the internet and may need to check that it is still connected.

Hannington (Hampshire, England) transmitter

John: According to Digital UK, Hannington is now using UHF channel 39 rather than 39+. You can check current allocations (and planned future changes) by entering your postcode at the link below and ticking the detailed view box.

PBS America
Thursday 1 August 2019 4:21PM

jane jerdan: If you're in Cumbria or the Scottish Borders receiving the Caldbeck transmitter then COM7 & COM8 (which carry PBS America, Smithsonian, BBC Four HD, etc) closed when the frequency changes took place early yesterday. If you provide a full postcode we can check if you're using another transmitter and offer further advice if this is the case.

Kelly: Unless you've been left with a Sky Q box, you can just unscrew the dish cable from the back of the Sky box and connect it to your Freesat box (Freesat channels are broadcast from the same satellites as Sky and are received with the same dishes). Which broadband provider you choose to go with has no relevance. Are there any trees or other obstructions in front of the dish? Unless you have a dish or cabling fault, you should get a good satellite signal if there is nothing in the way (satellite signal comes from thousands of miles above the equator and has nothing to do with ground based transmitters).
