jenny: True Entertainment+1 is not on Freeview.
Without any idea as to which transmitter you are using it's not possible to answer the question of how you might get True Entertainment (logical channel 61). Your location, preferably in the form of postcode may allow deduction of this.

michele: As the issue affects two aerials then it would seem likely that they are not at fault. You are 14 miles from the transmitter probably with clear line-of-sight, unless there's a tree or something in the way. See if you can spot such a thing within half a mile of you and the transmitter.

Click the link below the plot to see a line between you and the transmitter. Then click "Satellite" to show a satellite image. Then go out and look to see if a tree might have grown somewhere on or near that line.

michele: The other possibility is that the signal level is too high, although how likely that might affect two separate aerials I don't know (I'm not an aerial installer).
Where a signal strength is too great the readings given can mislead the unwary. The quality may be seen to jump up and down, and possibly the strength as well.
If your boosters have an adjustment for their levels then reduce them and try a manual scan on UHF channel 44 again.
The strength doesn't need to be 100%, indeed that may well indicate too much signal. So long as quality is 100% and remains so then that is all that matters.
Try setting the strength for 75 to 80%.

dave williams: There are only a few ITV HD regions, this being due to cost and the fact that the additional costs of having different ones would yield little benefit because the local programming is in standard definition anyway. For the same reason BBC One HD does not have regional content.

craig: See the information at: TV Aerials for Boats and Caravans You need a log periodic. ATV's "DM Log" is a Blake DML26WB and this model boasts an adjustable bracket (so that the aerial can be sloped upwards) and flat elements (rather than round ones, which is unusual among logs).

John Martin: Yes that's possible, although bear in mind that Belmont reception might not be perfect, if for no other reason than the aerial is facing the wrong way. That said the back of aerials are quite sensitive (the least sensitive are the sides).
I'm in Doncaster and my aerial is directed to Emley Moor but I can tune to Belmont which is in the opposite direction.

DenisW: In addition to that said by KMJ,Derby and having checked (as per his instructions) you are tuned to Tacolneston, does the poor reception happen at particular times such as when traffic is busiest?
