By providing a full postcode (such as W1A 1AA), national grid reference (for example SE123456) or latitude, longitude pair (like 54, -0.5) this page will provide a map, terrain plot and detailed information of the location showing the UK and RoI television transmitters that it is possible you receive Freeview, Freeview HD, Youview, BT TV and Saorview from.
(Don't know your postcode? Find it at Post Office Postcode finder).
UK Free TV uniquely shows you transmitter coverage maps, aerial to transmitter terrain plots, the closest 10 mobile phone masts (for possible 5G-at-800 interference) as well as tabulated information (sorted by direction, by received signal strength, by frequency, by service names or by transmitter name).

jim lavery: The e-mail you received is unlikely to have been sent from this website which is independent and has no connection with any broadcaster or transmitter company. The only transmitter to have any changes take place so far is Selkirk which has resulted in some viewers needing a replacement aerial if their existing aerial does not get good reception at the new frequencies, however the scheme will not provide a replacement aerial to resolve an existing problem which is unrelated to the frequency change. If you receive Freeview from Selkirk take a look at Changes to Freeview in the Scottish Borders | Freeview but if you use any other transmitter and have poor reception, please provide a postcode so we can offer further advice.

Sue C: Tiny Pop has moved, if you can receive a local TV station on either channel 7 or 8 then Tiny Pop should still be available following a retune, however if you can't receive a local TV station then Tiny Pop is no longer available to you via Freeview.

For the past week or so I haven't been able to get Channel 26 but all others Channels are working satisfactorily. I have done resets without success. A manual reset of C26 indicates that it hasn't been found.
Can you advise me, please, as to whether it is likely that I need a new TV - the one I have is about 10 years old - or might the problem be the aerial? The aerial is on the roof and, as I have said, reception to all the other channels is OK.

Ken Newby: Get an aerial installer out and ask them to put up an aerial pointed at either Bilsdale or Pontop Pike, which are both in the Tyne Tees region and both are predicted as providing a good signal at your postcode.

Last night suddenly went from watching channels to watching recordings back to tv and no channels can be found, all channels disappeared and internet channels appeared , spoke to BT they say its my aerial or signal supply. How can it just go like that. I retuned, rebooted, my bt vision box, no terrestrial channels at all. Surely this can't be my aerial, its a very tall aerial on the roof and still worked well when it fell in the storms 3 years ago.

Lesley: I think the clue is in 'it still worked well after when it fell in the storm 3 years ago'.
Your aerial system is held together by a wire just 6mm across, and is batter by wind, rain, ice and sun. And sometimes its just holding on and then it dies. BT advice is sound - get a professional to look at it.
