We are having problems receiving 5 USA 5* and ITV3. This has been over the last couple of months. Also for at least the last month we have had to re-scan ALL channels every morning. We wrongly assumed everything would resolve with the new channels added/swopped around as at yesterday's date but no - problem still exists. We have a booster which improved things slightly. We are informed that we have 3 different areas we can pick up signals from - our P/C is PL26 8XJ. We have an outside and an internal loft aerial, when plugging into the external aerial we lose all BBC channels! We have checked on the internet that informs us there is no signal problem from any of the 3 sites. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Is there someone to contact at 5 USA who would listen to a plea to please purchase (and broadcast) The Americans. ITV have decided not to show it anymore and surely it belonged on 5USA in the first place.

Maureen Davidson : The link to the 5USA website is at the top of this page Maureen. You could ask them, but to be honest it is an awkward time for the 5 group of channels to be picking up shows as Viacom (who own 5) are about to do some pretty major changes to their channels. Viacom are going to stop broadcasting the channel VIVA on Freeview and replace it with Spike.

Also, I have to say that 5 have a pretty lousy record with broadcasting US imports. Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, Parenthood, Archer, Once Upon A Time and Helix are all US shows that 5, 5* or 5USA started broadcasting and then they either dropped, shuffled around the schedules or switched channels.

a. ayusawa: The problem referred to can easily be rectified by carrying out a retune on your TV or box, this action being necessary to update the programme guide due to changes having been made to the listing numbers.

a. ayusawa: I should of course have added, that 5USA is now on EPG21 and with VIVA being on EPG74.

I can no longer receive 5USA on my TVs as it is no longer listed on EPG. Channel 31 has been taken over by some unwanted programme listed as Spike! Why has this happened and what can I do to reverse it so I can get 5USA again?
