Annabelle: viewers shown as being able to receive the COM7 transmissions will still need a receiver which supports DVB-T2/ FreeviewHD, connected to an aerial that covers the frequencies used by COM7 (UHF C31 to C37) and preferably pointing to the appropriate transmitter. As with any tv signals there could be locations where reception is blocked by trees or tall buildings. Viewers receiving via a communal aerial might need to ask their landlord or property management company to adjust the aerial to enable the additional frequencies.

Jackie: I cannot get Al Jazeera on 108, 133 or 134. Why not? Is this a dastardly plot by the BBC?

Elizabeth: I'm getting Al Jazeera HD on 108 and Arabic on 134, so I'd check that your signal is correct and your tuned into the right transmitter.

John Bee: How are you? Used to watch Al Jazeera and other HD channels. Now I don't, and I have reset the TV but still not Al Jazeera. I can't even tune in to channel 108. My address shows that I should receive it. Address is S3 9EE.
Thanks for regards

Zimwemhanga : Al Jazeera (108) is now being carried on the COM7 HD multiplex, therefore this programme can now only be viewed on TV's or boxes fitted with full HD receivers, Freeview HD ready devices not coming into this category.
An easy way to find out if the receiver you are using is capable of HD reception or not is by selecting EPG 101 (BBC HD), if unable to view? then the device being used is not fitted with a DVB-T2 tuner, the type required for full HD reception.
Your location is indicated as having excellent reception from Sheffield's COM7 transmitter, the multiplex channel used by same being C31.
By the way, if you are able to view BBC HD (EPG101)? try carrying out a retune "after" having removed the aerial connection, this action blanking out everything stored in the tuner, reconnecting the aerial on completion of the aforementioned followed by carrying out a second retune to load the programmes back into the tuner.
I find your statement of having previously viewed Al Jazerra and other HD channels a bit puzzling, as Al Jazeera wasn't an HD channel prior to having been moved.

Geoff Benge: Hi Geoff. Channel 108 now carries Al Jazeera English in HD (high definition) but has stopped broadcasting in English on SD (standard definition). In order to receive Al Jazeera in English now, you need a tv receiver capable of decoding HD into a renderable picture and audible sound. The majority of tv viewers in the UK still use SD (standard definition) receivers and so unless your tv or set top box has 'HD' printed on it, you are currently 'out of luck' and cannot watch Al Jazeera in English on standard definition Freeview. You may wish to consider purchasing a Freeview HD set-top box, which would enable you to watch channel 108 again. The box would get its signal from your aerial lead, just as your current setup does, then the box feeds its signal into your tv via what's called the HDMI input. For this suggestion to be successful, your tv must be marked as 'HD ready' and must have the HDMI input. You would also require an HDMI lead to go from the new set top box to your t.v.
The set-top box can be obtained from Amazon for 43 pounds plus delivery and an HDMI lead can be yours for one pound and 99 pence plus p& p. Hope this advice helps, Richard, Norwich.

Forgive me if I'm in the wrong space/time ... I've been watching Al Jazeera; along with/ amongst other news channels on my Freesat box for years now, today - 14/11/2017 - Al jazeera has gone, first a black screen then after a re-tune, missing altogether. I emailed Freesat who replied that they don't offer a service called Al Jazeera !! have I slipped into a parallel universe?

Don:
Does your TV receive BBC1 HD on 101? If not then you will not get Al Jazeera as it now only broadcasts in HD. If you do get BBC1 HD, then a retune may be required - but only if you do get BBC1 HD, etc. To get it, you transmitter needs to broadcast the required HD signals and your TV must be a Freeview HD type, HD Ready or Full HD is not capable of getting the HD signals as they are not fitted with the required tuner system.

Don: The online TV guide on Freesat's website (https://www.freesat.co.uk/tv-guide/) still has Al Jazeera listed as channel 203. Bloomberg on channel 208 is broadcast on the same transponder, is that working for you? MikeP seems to have missed that you're using Freesat as his answer is only relevant to Al Jazeera on Freeview.
