London Live TV has now expanded its coverage via the Hemel Hempstead relay. Anyone receiving from this relay in Hemel Hempstead or St.Albans can now retune & will find LL TV on Freeview channel 8. The coverage does NOT extend to Watford, & is at a lower power (200 watts as opposed to 2kW) than the other muxes radiated from this mast.

for the past few days my Freeview built in TV has very bad reception and I could not get London Live (Channel 8). I called Freeview's but my complaint was dismissed off-hand. I was also told that my transmitter is Crystal Palace and work on this transmitter by Freeview has ended in 2018.
In fact my transmitter is at Alexandra palace - as I was informed by Freeview's engineer in the past.

If , indeed Freeview is a responsible company , as they claim , they ought to send their engineer to check the signal interference on my TV and retune it if needed .

As StevensOnln1 says, see his reply to your other post. When you reply there, apart from the full postcode he's requested, it will also be helpful if you could say what direction your aerial is pointing in, using compass points as accurately as you can ie. is it pointing eg. say SW or more S of SW, or say N of NW, or say slightly W of S, etc. etc.

Surely London Live TV should cover Watford as it is considered to be psrt pf the greater London area and as such should be covered by one of the local transmitters.

Nicholas Anderson:

Whilst ideally that should be the case, it's a commercial decision by the individual broadcaster as to how/where their channels are broadcast. It might be worth noting that quite a few "local" stations are not huge profit making operations, quite the reverse, a number have gone out of business and been taken over in recent times and broadcast less hours of locally made content than they ambitiously attempted to do at start-up.

London Live operates at low power (30kW) compared to the other multiplexes from Crystal Palace (200kW) as these services use spare interleaved frequencies that are used elsewhere & must not cause interference.

London Live also broadcasts from Hemel Hempstead at 200 watts, but again due to the frequency allocated the transmissions can only be aimed at Hemel & St. Albans.

They have a YouTube channel as well as the website Home - London Live
I couldn't spot anything, but you are probably best asking the broadcaster, see the "Contact Us" on the website.
