Last night (Tuesday 29th Jan) I was watching Movies 4 Men film Hijacked after the first hour there was a Soccer break for 5 mins after which the second half of the film should have started. Instead they started at the beginning again with the open credits and we were subjected to a repeat of the first hour again and at 11.00 p.m and brand new film started.
I there nobody monitoring the programmes, I was hoping that they would realise the error and would stop it and then put the correct half of the film on, that did not happen

This is n ot the website for Movies for Men. It is entirely independent of all broadcasters. You should make your comments to the actual broadcaster on their own website as they will not see your comments here.

They do not appear to have a web-based service.
You might find a plug-in tuner that would fit a tablet computer but most tuners need a USB socket and most tablets do not have that.

lorie: Freeview 'Movies for Men advised the channel had moved and to retune. I did this and now get Movies for Men - Digital Service. What does this mean and how do I get it via Freeview or is it only now available via Freestat?

Andy S: Are you somewhere in Wales? Movies for Men has changed multiplex and is now only available from main transmitters in England, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Movies4Men has disappeared form Freeview. I live in the Bristol area but can also pick up a strong Welsh signal. Is this a temporary glitch or has it gone for good? It is still listed in Radio Timess as Freeview Channel 40.

Movies4Men is on LCN/Channel 40 and is on the SDN multiplex in England, but not in Wales. If your set is incorrectly tuned to that Multiplex from Wenvoe rather than Mendip, you won't get it until you retune.
If automatic tuning is what is creating the problem, do the following -
Unplug the aerial and do an automatic tune, this will clear all previous tuning.
Plug the aerial back in and then do a manual tune of the following UHF Channels for Mendip - 32, 34, 48, 33, 36 and if you can get the Local mux C30. If you have an HD tuner include 35, 55 & 56.
