p.cialfi: This website doesn't broadcast any channels. Do you mean that you have lost Horror Channel on Freeview?

Vicky: Ask the broadcaster, this isn't their website and no one here has any information on what channels might launch on Freeview in the future (beyond what has been publicly announced).

Horror extra was on Freeview 69 until last night,
I have tried to find what has happened on google, but got the 'run-arround' of old news as if the site is un-aware of the change. Where can I find it on Freeview in my Westcountry region?

It's still on LCN69 when I last checked, it's just moved multiplex as did RealityXtra LCN68, an unannounced change by Freeview (they rarely mention mux swaps which is what the broadcaster has done).
LCN69 HorrorXtra is now on the Local multiplex, so if you don't get the Local Mux from Mendip (UHF C30) it'll be missing. LCN68 is now on the SDN multiplex UHF C48 on Mendip.
You may need to retune both those multiplexes if you receive from Mendip. If you are further SW, no other transmitter has a Local multiplex.

Channel 69 disappeared from Freeview in the Anglia region a couple of weeks ago. There was no mention that this was to happen and nothing about it disappearing afterwards either. This is not good enough.

Terry Donelly:

The broadcaster decided to swap the multiplexes of two of its channels which were HorrorXtra and RealityXtra, the former being on the SDN/COM4 multiplex now on the Local multiplex and so will have reduced coverage if you can't receive a Local multiplex (no local news channel at LCN7 or 8).
Conversely, RealityXtra now has increased coverage on the SDN multiplex.
Unfortunately Freeview didn't mention this particular change with the others minor ones that occurred on the 20th September.

As you haven't given a full postcode, we don't know which Anglia transmitter you may be receiving and which, if any, UHF channel it may be on. Not all areas can get a Local multiplex. Where one is transmitted from a particular transmitter it is generally beamed in the direction of the larger urban conurbations it's intended for.

Chris.SE: Didn't the CBS Drama channel do something similar years ago? You get people watching your stuff, then you pull the channel and lose viewers to expand another channel you own. That is why I gave up watching freeview or TV in general. This is just speeding up the end of broadcast TV. They want everyone to stream stuff.
They want to sell of all the frequencies.
