I live in Milton keynes which it seems is 30km from any transmitter. I have nevertheless been successful in getting my freeview enabled TVs to pick up BBC 1, BBC 2 and a host of other incidental channels but cannot pick up a reliable signal for ITV1, Ch4 and Ch5. I think from other commenyts I have seen on the internet these channels may be broadcast on a lower prower 'multiplex'. If this the case will the power of this multiplex be increased when the anolgue signal is turned off?

jack: Indoor aerials are unsuitable for Freeview reception. Use a rooftop aerial if you want it to work.

I have lost several channels after a re scan for the ITV1+1 add.
I had all of them before.
I'm now missing QVC, E4+1,(E4 is fine) Film 4, Viva, ITV2+1 (possibly more)
I've taken the aerial out, unplugged it etc and scanned with no aerial, scanned with aerial connected but the channels are still missing.
I live in Wootton Bassett (nearest main town is Swindon)
Don't think I've got a digital aerial on my roof but channels and reception were perfect until this recent ITV channel add and re tune!!
There's a booster and splitter in my loft.
Any suggestions?
Thank you in advance

Wendy: If you are using Oxford there was no change to the signals being transmitted. If you are using Mendip there was no change to MuxA (QVC etc) but MuxD changed to Mux ArqB on a higher frequency (C67).Try doing a manual tune on the frequencies/channels applicable to the transmitter you are using. If you are on Mendip check that no VCR or Sky box has its RF modulator set around C67.

Can you tell me if there is something wrong with the Craigkelly transmitter today? I lost some channels so thought it was due to digital switchover but spoke to someone from digital switchover website who said there was actually something wrong with one of the mux's on Criagkelly transmitter and should try again later. Still nothing, although i now have lost more channels when i re-tuned. Have mostly only got bbc channels now.
