How about giving direct information for once in a lifetime. I want channel numbers to retune manually. In plain English i want the UHF numbers per channel.
Why should i have to request this in the first place?

Stewart: The information is on the individual pages for each transmitter, and also on TV Re-tune and on Digital UK's postcode checker.

It was not feasible to give the tuning data on individual channel pages because it was different at each of the 81 main pre-switchover transmitter sites. After switchover it will be over 1000 sites, because BBC channels are broadcast from all the relays.

For The Wrekin, Bromsgrove and Lark Stoke, the BBC A multiplex is on C26. Sutton Coldfield has not yet switched and Mux 1 is on C41.

And you don't have to request it - an automatic retune should pick up the channel from somewhere, although some boxes just store the first version they find rather than the strongest version. (RG47SH)

Viewers can now have their say on the proposed BBC3 closure.

See the Radio Times artical about BBC3 closing down at;
http://strongmail.magical…rrow

If they close down BBC3 we will have a BBC1 +1 channel!
BBC one sd, BBC one hd, BBC one +1 sd and BBC one +1 hd (The same program transmitted four times) and less choice.

BBC 3 (SD & HD) will cease transmissions on Freeview, Freesat, Sky etc. on Tuesday 16/02/2016.
Promotional information pointing viewers to the on-line version will be displayed for a few weeks after this date until the BBC3 EPG number (Electronic Programmer Guide) is removed.

This channel (SD version) was first transmitted on 9/02/2003.

An Internet version will be available for some users with a fast Internet connection.

Because of the LCN the SD version will be placed at in the EPG - LCN23 - the other channels in the range 25-82 have to shift up one. Davejavu moves from 23 to 25.
BBC3 HD will be at LCN109.
A retune will most likely be needed.
