I have a sky multi room dish with a four way LAN, can I use this dish to recieve a free sat signal, without having to change any thing, or will I need a new dish? I.E. can I just plug the free sat lead into the spare LAN sockets?

ROB: Taking it that you are meaning LNB and not LAN (a router to PC connection facility) then the answer is yes, as there is no difference between Sky or Freesat as far as dishes / LNB's are concerned.

Are there plans to expand the number of freeview channels available in the Islands?

About to purchase a Panasonic TX-P46ST30 3D TV with Freeview HD. Need Freesat and have dish rigged up. Also need a HD recorder for viewing Freesat. Will I need a Freesat box (HUMAX) and a HUMAX FOXSAT HDR 500GB Freesat HD satellite receiver and digital TV recorder or will the FOXSAT receiver only do both jobs?

thomas: I am a bit curious as to why you should want a Freesat recorder (PVR) when you have a Freeview HD TV, which if you receive a good Freeview signal should be suffice for your needs, a Humax Freeview Fox T2 PVR completing your set up by providing twin channel HD recording facilities.
Maybe you could clarify this point enabling further advice to be given, although if its because you reside in an area not served by Freeview then a Humax Foxsat HDR PVR would be what you require to use with a twin output dish, as you can view through the PVR whilst you record a another channel, the PVR connected to your TV via an HDMI lead.
