Terry Williams : Either because your TV can't receive HD channels (FreeSports is broadcast on the COM8 multiplex which can only be viewed with a TV/set top box/PVR that supports Freeview HD) or FreeSports isn't being broadcast from the transmitter you're using.

Hello! I seem to have lost Freesports on channel 95 on BTTV. It was there a few weeks ago. It has also happened to a friend. It came up with weak signal error first, so I retuned the box and it does not feature at all. I believe the channels come to Rutland from the Waltham transmitter.

Raymond: Please provide a full postcode so that we can see which transmitter you're using. Various transmitters have undergone frequency changes in the last few weeks, with some viewers needing new aerials to restore the missing channels (there is a scheme to provide free replacement aerials for viewers who don't have satellite or cable - see link below).

I had Freesports which I watched via a BT TV box. The signal seemed to have been lost a few days ago. On retuning the box I have now totally lost Freesports (channel does not show on the guide) Any ideas anyone? (I love near Poole in Dorset)

Mike Kelly: Freesports is on the COM8 multiplex which changed frequency at Rowridge transmitter on 21st March. If your box cannot pick it up when retuning you most likely have a Group A aerial which is not designed to receive the higher frequency (UHF channel 56) now being used. If you don't have satellite or cable you may be eligible to have a free replacement wideband aerial fitted which can be arranged by contacting the Freeview Advice Line (see link below).

Hi,

I too am having issues with getting FreeSports. I'm desperate to watch the RX this weekend, so hoping I can get it sorted.

I have a Humax HD box, and can get the HD channels (on the right numbers) that were in the previous comments. I had the Kids tv on 95, did a retune and 95 went completely. i tried a manual retune, but nothing came up. I'm in SE19 3LR, so should be on the Crystal Palace tower.

Not sure if there's anything I can do, any suggestions?

Many thanks
Hayley
