If you use the Ebbw Vale relay however this is unlikely ever to transmit the COM muxes as the owners of the muxes decided that it was not economically viable to increase the number of transmitters beyond the original 81 Freeview sites.

Gill Reilly: When you say your Sky services will end do you mean your sky subscription runs out? If you still have your Sky box you will continue to receive "free to air" channels and with a Sky card inserted a number of "free to view" channels which are encrypted but not part of a Sky subscription package.Note that if you have a Sky+ box the recording/playback facility will not work without a subscription in place.

Gill Reilly: To view the output of the Sky box connect it to the tv via the scart socket. If you wish to receive Freeview channels via the tv's internal tuner you will need to connect a UHF tv aerial to the aerial socket on the tv. According to the Digital UK postcode checker you should be able to receive all multiplexes with good reception from the Angus transmitter.

bob thompson: West Runton will unfortunately only transmit the three PSB muxes. The Digital UK postcode checker predicts that both Belmont and Tacolneston will probably be receivable at your location with variable reception. If you currently receive Mux1 from Belmont there is a good chance that you will receive Mux SDN (which carries ITV3) after switchover as it will use the frequency vacated by Mux1.

Alan Smith: The COM muxes from The Wrekin do not use their high power post switchover frequencies until 28th September 2011, after Sutton Coldfield has switched.

Colin and Briantist: According to Digital UK C67 will be used by Mux ArqB (8k mode)until 14th September (when it changes to C48). C67 is then used by MuxC (2k mode) from 14th September till 23rd November 2011. MuxC/ArqA then changes to C52 in 8k mode.

Virginia: Engineering work took place yesterday and is taking place between 9am and 6pm today (13th April 2011). If you retune when a transmitter is off the air it is often found that channels are deleted from the channel list. These can only be restored by retuning when the transmitter is back in service.
