It's likely, unless all of your neighbours are also having problems, that it's something to do with your setup. Does it happen on both TVs? Which transmitter are you tuned in to? Check by either going to the signal strength screen or manual tune option, to see what UHF channel or frequency comes up.

David: No at the moment we get BBC1 HD (England) and BBC1 Scotland SD, meaning we have a choice of viewing if BBC Scotland are showing something different - like MOTD2 on Sundays when we have Sportscence on up here.

Briantist: Seems to be some sort of problem with the Sheffield transmitter page Tapton Hill (Sheffield, England) full-Freeview transmitter | ukfree.tv - 10 years of independent, free digital TV advice in that it's show all of the available regional variations in the channel listing per mux!

Willie Bone: I flicked between 1 and 101 - the Studio is definitely in HD, though some of the news content is SD.

If you use the dropdown boxes on the left, you can select "by tuner type" Freeview HD - you'll see there are no Samsungs with Freeview HD under 32" (only a dozen from other manufacturers).
DVB-T2 TVs will have the FreeviewHD logo on the packaging or display as well.

simon: ITV4+1 is not on Freeview, and neither is S4C if you aren't in Wales - they are available on 118 and 120 on Freesat though. Yesterday is not available on Freesat.
Perhaps you were using Freeview either from the TV to receive Yesterday, and now you're using the Freesat box?

Don't know if it's deliberate or not, but the STV Dundee micro region is shown as coming from the Perth transmitter rather than Angus.

brian: Have you checked to see if the chip shop is actually getting the Anglia regional news? Because I can see two aerials by looking at google street view - one north, one south.

Paul Dicken: Don't bother with Saorview or a normal Freeview box, just go for a Freeview HD (as you'll also get the HD channels). Any Freeview HD box should work as Freeview HD channels are broadcast using MPEG4 over DVB-T2.
