David White:
If you look at the top of this page, you will see that there are three services marked as PSB1, PSB2 and PSB3. These are the one you will be able to receive. The rest marked COMx will not be being transmitted from the Freeview Lite transmitter at Dronfield.

S12 2LW. My signal comes from the Sheffield (Crosspool / Tapton) relay transmitter. I have a chimney-mounted aerial with an amplifier in the loft. Problems started with poor Freeview reception on Monday 21/11/16. Seems to have improved a bit as the week's gone on however I still have issues of signal strength & quality. TV works in one room only (aerial points in two rooms). I have two Freeview recorders, both of which show "No Signal" although I can get a (fairly poor) signal on the TV via through loop aerial cable via the recorder - yet the recorder says "no signal". Also when I switch the recorder on the TV signal completely disappears too.

I get generally good TV reception from the Sheffield local transmitter so my issue is not with the quality of the broadcast but with some of the content.
I'm not sure if this is something within your control but if not, please pass on my comment to those concerned.
The problem is with the Look North and Calendar content. I have noticed recently that the morning summaries of local News included in the Breakfast program seem to have changed sometime during 2016. Previously summaries were relevant mainly to West and South Yorkshire and included a fair share of news for the Sheffield area. This was consistent with the content of the evening Look North broadcasts. Now however, while the evening Look North content remains concerned with West and South Yorkshire, the morning summaries have changed to content mainly concerned with Hull and Lincolnshire. I also notice that the evening Calendar news is similarly oriented to Humberside and Lincolnshire and therefore rarely relevant for viewers in Sheffield.
Why is this?

Sheffield transmitter- since the changes for 5G we can no longer get True channels or Sony movies on 2 TVs at the front of the house, 1 TV upstairs gets 43% signal
strength & fluctuating quality which won't produce a picture & the TV downstairs won't get any signal at all. We have not had this problem before. Also I understand we should get channel 7 ? saw this briefly on one of the sets. Upstairs at back of house, no issues ??? Please help

Margie : True Entertainment and True Movies have moved to the local TV multiplex (this has nothing to do with 5G) so you will only be able to receive them if you can get a local TV station on Freeview channel 7 or 8. Have you checked for any loose or damaged cables or connections behind each TV? Are all of your TVs connected to the same aerial? Please provide a full postcode so that we can see which transmitters you should be able to receive, where you are in relation to them and your predicted coverage etc.

Paul Reuben Bruney: The transmitter engineering post above yours warns of the signal from the Sheffield transmitter being disrupted over the last week, which may still be continuing over the weekend. It's worth checking for any loose or damaged cables or connections, but do not attempt to retune when you have no signal as you will end up deleting channels which are already correctly tuned.
