You might do better to ask Sky why that is.This website has no connection with any broadcaster.

As we've said before, both Hardy and I, you might well do better to have Freesat rather than struggle with poor reception from Tacolnston. It will not get better because of the geography of the area causing very poor signal reception. That will not affect satellite reception though so you will get far better results reliably with Freesat for which there is no subscription.

We need you to give your full post code so that we can check the expected reception conditions at your location.

Just because other people are not getting the benmefit of all channels from Presceli doesn't mean you can't. If you look at the predicted reception at your location, go to Coverage Checker - Detailed View it will show you that reception from Kilvey Hill is expected to be variable to poor whereas Presceli is expected top be good on all channels.

Sadly it is not currently up-to-date. Use the Digital UK Coverage Checker to find what the correct transmitter and channels are for your location. See Digital UK - Coverage checker and select Detailed View.

To offer any helpful advice we need you to supply a full post code. Only then can we examine what the reception conditions are like at your location. There are over 1100 Freeview transmitters so we need to identify which is correct for you.

Firstly, please provide her full post code so that we can look up the expected reception conditions for her location. Secondly, check all the aerial connections and cables, unplugging and refitting any coaxial plugs/sockets. Thirdly, if she is on a communal aerial then check with others and neighbours whether thay have the same problem.

Are you trying to use a streaming service? If so, then it may be a problem with the internet connection, or they may have stopped the service (it happens). You will certainly not be using the Freeview transmissions from any transmitter as the iPad is not capable of receiving the RF signals.

Go to the Digital UK Coverage Checker at Digital UK - Coverage checker put in your full post code, select the Detailed view and hit Go. Then scroll down the reluting listing to see all the channels used for the multiplexes.
The owner of this website has been away for some time but has not yet had chance to bring all the entries for over 1100 transmitters up to date. The website I'm suggesting is run by the transmitter operators.
