Made in Bristol

Jol:

The transmitter aerial used for Made in Bristol does not cover Shirehampton. The pattern or signals produced by the aerial was specifically designed to cover only certain areas of Bristol.

Goodbye BBC Red Button!

Stephen Jones:

It is not a matter of politics. The BBC decide how to spend the licence fee money and not the Government of the day.

Usman:

None whatsoever!

The signal coverage from all of the satellites used by Sky and Freesat do not reach further east than about Germany! So there is no signal available from Sky or Freesat in Pakistan.

The only possible way might be to use the Sky Go on-line feature - but you are required to use an address in the UK. They do check the IP address being used.

ITV 3 +1

Elizabeth:

You would do better to ask the specific broadcaster that. This website has no connection with any broadcaster so we regular contributors are unlikely to know.

Gill:

To be able to help we need a full post code, near Cromer is not accurate enough to determine reception conditions. I presume you mean that Tacolneston is your nearest transmitter, but that does not necessarily mean you get your TV signals from there.

One thing you can do is to check with neighbours to see if their Freeview reception has been affected. If their's has not, then that suggests there may be a problem with your installation. If so, start by checking visually that the aerial is still mounted as it should be, then check all the cabling (including the short coaxial flylead from the wall socket into the aerial input socket of your equipment. If in doubt about that, replace it as they are very cheap.

Andrew McClelland:

To be able to help we need a full post code so that we can determine exactly what the reception conditions and terrain are at your location.

It is worth noting that signal strengths of 10/10 are too strong and will result in pixelation and loss of sound quality.

Mark Fraser:

Please read the response to your earlier query given by StevensOnln1. There are major works being done to the Bluebell Hill transmitter so instances such as you report are to be expected until the work is completed. They never say when that is expected to be.
