Andy: COM8 will remain on UHF channel 56 until it closes (some time between mid 2020 and 2022). A wideband type aerial such as a log periodic would be recommended for most viewers (unless they are in a poor signal area).

M Moppet: ITV/Channel 4/Channel 5 haven't changed frequency at Mendip yet (the PSB2 multiplex doesn't change until next year). Try retuning with the aerial unplugged to clear your existing tuning date, then plug it back and try a fresh retune.

Maggie Rickards: Which UHF channel are you currently using for RF2 on your Sky box?

Dave: I assume you mean COM7 & COM8 (there have been no changes to COM6 at Ridge Hill). Have you retuned since the frequency change on 1st March?

LBC 97.3

Mrs D Millar: This is not LBC's website and I can't see anything to suggest that LBC has been removed from Freeview. Are you missing any other channels on Freeview?

Patrick Stevens: TruTV is broadcast on local TV multiplexes and there isn't one for your area.

Les Anderson: UHF channel 68 is in the 800MHz band which is now used for 4G mobile broadband services. You would be better off finding a clear channel below 60 (please provide a full postcode so that we can see which transmitters are available at your location and identify a channel not likely to be in use).

David Hitchin & Chris Gasgoine: If you're having trouble receiving COM4 & COM6 from Whitehawk Hill following the frequency changes, you should contact the Freeview Advice Line (see link below) who can arrange for a new wideband aerial to be fitted (free of charge if you don't have satellite or cable).

Daren : Retuning was a bad idea as you've now deleted all of your channels which were correctly tuned (Newhaven is due to change frequencies, but not until some time in the summer). If you can't get anything by manually tuning on UHF channels 50/43 (and 40 if your TV receives HD channels) then you need to start looking for a problem with your aerial system such as a loose or damaged cable or connection, so start behind your TV and work your way back as far as you can safely access towards the aerial.

Detailed comparison Freeview/Sky

Lynn: Gold is a subscription channels and isn't available on Freeview or Freesat. You could look at streaming services such as Now TV for a lower cost way of accessing some subscription channels than subscribing to Sky.
