John Edwards: The COM4/5/6 multiplexes all changed frequency at Lark Stoke on 7th March. Have you retuned since then to pick up the changes?

Gary Colby: Details of the Freeview Advice Line can be found at the link below. You should be eligible for a free replacement wideband aerial if you don't have cable or satellite and are unable to restore the channels you've lost via manual tuning.

Jim: TV3 isn't broadcast in Northern Ireland but you might be able to receive it if you're close enough to the border to be able to receive it from a transmitter in the Irish Republic.

Bill Campbell, Jimmy Smith & Gus Gordon: As this is an independent website, no one here has any further information beyond what has appeared in the transmitter engineering posts above. The recent bad weather could well be making access to the transmitter more difficult (I know nothing about the area so am only speculating) which would delay the fault being fixed.

Darren: Resetting and retuning will never fix a problem with a bad signal as you are just deleting all of your channels and searching for them again. If your neighbours are having the same problem and you are all using the same communal aerial system then you need to report it to whoever is responsible for maintenance so that they can send someone to fix it.

Geoffrey Petto: From today Midhurst uses UHF channels 48/54/58/29/59/33 (info from Digital UK). There will be further frequency changes taking place in late 2019. Some viewers may need a new aerial (see link below for details of the Freeview Advice Line who can arrange a free replacement wideband aerial for viewers who don't have satellite or cable).

John: PBS America has not changed Logical Channel Number. If you have already carried out a full retune please provide a full postcode so that we can see which transmitter you're using and offer further advice on how to restore PBS America and any other missing channels.

Roger: You can't reclaim any costs that you've paid yourself, however you may be eligible for a free replacement wideband aerial if you don't have satellite or cable (this is arranged via the Freeview Advice Line - see link below).

John: The most likely explanation is that you're using a Group A aerial pointed at Crystal Palace which isn't designed to pick up the higher frequencies that the COM7 & COM8 multiplexes are now using. If you don't have satellite or cable, you may be eligible for a free replacement wideband aerial which can be arranged by contacting the Freeview Advice Line (see link below).

MikeP: COM8 moved to UHF channel 56 at Sutton Coldfield on 7th March.

Dave Woods: Have you tried retuning since the frequency change on 7th March?
