David Perkin: Make a note of any planned recordings, then do a full retune with the aerial unplugged which should clear your channel list. Then reconnect the aerial and retune again, which should restore all of your channels on the correct numbers with fresh tuning data.

Briantist: Scala appears to be testing on the SDL mux already. Anyone who can already receive Absolute 80s should also be able to receive Scala Radio.

Paul vibert: This is not True Entertainment's website and no one here has any input or control over which programs are shown or when they are repeated etc.

John Clark: First check that your TV is tuned to the correct UHF channels (C40 for BBC1 & C43 for ITV). You should not attempt to retune if the TV is already tuned to the correct frequency as this will just delete all of your tuning data before searching for the channels again, which will make the problem worse if those channels are not being received. Are the Humax box and kitchen TV connected to the same aerial as the main TV?

Talking Pictures TV
Monday 4 March 2019 5:40PM

Lesley Green: Talking Pictures isn't available on Now TV, but is broadcast Free To Air (FTA) on satellite and can be received on an old Sky box or a Freesat box without a Sky subscription being required.

MikeP: If the manufacturer has not licensed the Freesat EPG software for that particular model then they cannot claim that it includes Freesat. The TV you have bought includes a FTA satellite receiver but not Freesat.

MikeP: Freesat don't broadcast any channels, all they broadcast is an EPG which FTA channels can pay to be listed on. Your TV does not receive that EPG, therefore it does not receive Freesat. The manufacturer would also be in breach of Freesat's intellectual property rights if they claimed their TVs could receive Freesat when they haven't paid to licence the Freesat EPG.
