Philip Davies: Only Sony (the owner of the channel) can do that. No one on this independent technical help website has any influence other the decisions taken by the owner of any channel.

Lesley Horner: If your TV has a manual tuning function you can use it to manually tune in the signals broadcast from the Poplar relay on UHF channels 39/45/42.

Chris Sermon: If you're receiving the Caldbeck transmitter in Cumbria, it ceased brodcasting COM7 & COM8 (which carries PBS America) when frequency changes took place last week. If you're using any other tranmsitter, please provide a full postcode so that we can see which transmitter you're receiving, where you are in relation to it and your predicted coverage etc.

Keith: True Entertainment and True Movies moved to the local TV multiplex several weeks ago and can no only be received on Freeview if you get a local TV station on either channel 7 or 8. Otherwise both are still being broadcast free to air on satellite.

Annie147: Probably because it isn't broadcast from the transmitter you're using. If you provide a full postcode we can see which transmitters are available at your location and whether you might be able to receive Drama and other commercial channels from any of them.

Ben Johnson: There doesn't seem to be a transmitter called Hundall listed, but if you mean the Chesterfield transmitter which you have posted under, it broadcasts both the BBC and ITV Yorkshire regions, not East Midlands.

Freesports
Tuesday 13 August 2019 4:06PM

BobbyE: Freesports HD launched on Sky and Freesat last month, which was followed by the SD version closing. If you have a Freesat SD box then it will no longer be available, however if you have a HD box try putting the box in standby, then turn the power off for 10 minutes, then turn it back on and your channel list should update.

peter kirk: Retuning is the worst thing to do when you have a problem with a weak signal as you are just deleting the correctly tuned channels and searching for them again. Have you checked for any loose or damaged cables or connections behind your TV and anywhere else that you can safely access between your TV and aerial? Please provide a full postcode so that we can see the predicted signal strength at your location.

Gilbert Wright: Do you have a wideband aerial? If you have an older grouped aerial then replacing it with a wideband type should resolve the problem. This should be available for free via the Freeview Advice Line if you don't have satellite or cable. The reallocation of the 700MHz band from TV to mobile was announced several years ago after gaining Europe-wide agreement between broadcasters and regulators. I'm not sure why you think colour will break up leaving a black and white picture, as that isn't even possible with digital TV.
