Elly : Pop Max is only broadcast on Freeview channel 129 in Greater Manchester and surrounding areas. Outside of that area it is available on Sky and Freesat.

Graham Glew: Kidderminster should be fairly well covered by the Birmingham local DAB multiplex which carries BBC Radio WM so it should appear in your station list if you rescan your radio. Try retuning with the radio in front of an east facing upstairs window if possible.

Will: ITV plc (or its subsidiaries in Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands) run the channel 3 service in all areas except for central and northern Scotland, which is run by STV. In theory the COM multiplexes should work well as single frequency networks, but there is no chance of Ofcom introducing any further new multiplexes in the future when they are keen to sell off spectrum for mobile broadband. COM7 and COM8 are temporary and will close in 2020 when the 700MHz frequency band is handed over to the mobile networks, following the currently delayed spectrum auction.

Rob: This website is for technical help with TV and radio reception. It does not provide any streaming services, the links given in the channel listings are to streaming services provided by the broadcasters where available.

Peter Millican: The Frome transmitter only broadcasts around 19 TV channels so you will probably find that you would loose a lot more channels by turning your aerial to Frome than if you keep it pointed at Mendip.

Rowridge (Isle Of Wight, England) transmitter

Margaret Baker: Freeview transmitters do not reduce their broadcast power overnight. If it is happening at the same time each night then you are likely suffering from electrical interference caused by something operating on a timer switch.

BBC Four HD
Tuesday 23 August 2016 10:58PM

Beema525: BBC4 HD has moved back to the COM7 multiplex which is where it has always been prior to it's temporary move to PSB3 in order to provide increased coverage for the duration of the Olympics.

Peter Howard: Have you checked with any neighbours to see if they are experiencing the same problem with Freeview?

The Marlborough only carries a basic service due to it only covering a small population and won't be upgraded to to broadcast additional services. If you provide a postcode we'll be able to see if you might be able to receive Freeview from a main transmitter. Alternatively you could get Freesat which will give you most of the channels available on Freeview via satellite without a subscription.

Pam Paterson: Have you contacted Sky's technical support? Power your box off at the mains for a couple of minutes then turn it back on and give it 5-10 minutes to go through it's startup procedure and scan for channels, then if it isn't back to normal give Sky a call.
