Clermont Cairn is a well known problem at tne moment Peter (many peopele , including myself, can get perfect analogue reception but nothing at all from Saorview).
Patrick: Hadn't realised Moville was affected as well.
2 kw is as strong as Divis is at the moment, so coverage should be excvellent post DSO.

Jim:Patrick's info. is confirmed in this document:

Both Moville and Holywell Hill are on restricted power until ASO.
You're in the same situation as I am with Clermont Cairn. Things should improve after the 24th October, fingers crossed. (BT370UL)

Any word on UTV+1 returning to satellite ?
I assume this will happen at some stage since the recent signing of the agreement with ITV on the UTV HD issue. I think UTV+1 on satellite was also part of the agreement.

UTV HD on satellite (both Sky and Freesat) is supposedly going to start at DSO, which I assume means the 24th October Radan.
I can't see any reason why both couldn't start earlier (i.e now) unless it has something to do with the agreement coming into force at DSO,
I assume ITV1 +1 is availible on Satellite (i.e. both the Sky and Freesat EPGs) in England, Wales, and those parts of Southern Scotland that carry ITV1 Border Scotland ?
I would also assume that UTV HD and UTV +1 will be available on satellite sometime before the official launch under the other channels option.

Yes, it does Brian, on channel 993. However, ITV 1 HD is not on channel 178 (which
is blank) in NI.
I assume UTV HD will be on 178 when it officially gets the go ahead (24th October ?)
I would also assume there will be a period of testing before the launch when it will be available using the add channels feature ?

Along with Kilkeel Kieran.
However, since you're receiving Freeview Downeagle, you must have your aerial pointed at Divis.
Most likely due to atmospheric conditions.

Newtownabbey
Noticing some breakup on 23 here too Carl.
This channel has always ben weaker than the rest at this location, with 34 being the strongest by far (despite being only 1.6 kw).
I'm afraid there's really nothing we can do about the situation until after October 24th.
50kw will be a massive increase in power compared to the measly 2.3 kw that we have now.
To be honest, I can't see why Divis couldn't have something of a power increase (10 kw for example) and the HD channels added between now and then, given there are only four regions left to switch, but I suppose they have to follow protocol on these things.
