By providing a full postcode (such as W1A 1AA), national grid reference (for example SE123456) or latitude, longitude pair (like 54, -0.5) this page will provide a map, terrain plot and detailed information of the location showing the UK and RoI television transmitters that it is possible you receive Freeview, Freeview HD, Youview, BT TV and Saorview from.
(Don't know your postcode? Find it at Post Office Postcode finder).
UK Free TV uniquely shows you transmitter coverage maps, aerial to transmitter terrain plots, the closest 10 mobile phone masts (for possible 5G-at-800 interference) as well as tabulated information (sorted by direction, by received signal strength, by frequency, by service names or by transmitter name).

terence martin: Have you checked for any loose or damaged cables or connections behind your TV? Please provide a full postcode so that we can see which transmitter you're using, where you are in relation to it and your predicted coverage etc.

StevensOnln1: anyone?! Any suggestions on how I can return my YouView box? I can reset it, but would that be likely to bring back a missing station or a red button?

Martin R: There are currently no Red Button services on the COM7/8 multiplexes.
If you want London Live and it's not listed on your box and you can't do a manual tune then what other option is there?

Martin R: As far as I am aware, there has never been a BBC Red Button stream on COM7/8.
I know little about youview, but does it not have Red Button+ or Connected Red Button?
Maybe that's what you had?
Take a look at BBCB:
http://www.digitalbitrate…PSB3
The Red Button stream is shown as Data (DSM-CC) 422 kbps.
On COM7 there is no Red Button stream:

I have terrible signal on all my ITV channels, channel 4 and 5 and so on. BBC channels work fine. I live in a block with a communal aerial

Lesley Horner: Have you checked whether any of your neighbours in the block are having the same problem with Freeview? If they are you need to report it to whoever is responsible for building maintenance and get them to send someone to investigate.

Durham Knowles: I don't know which transmitter you mean by Four Lanes, your coverage prediction shows that you should get good reception from the main transmitter at Redruth but poor coverage from the much nearer (but low powered) Truro relay. Have you checked for any loose or damaged cables or connections behind your TV and in the loft?

I have no Freeview (TalkTalk Box and Samsung TV) reception here in Guildford from Crystal Palace on certain channels. The problem channels appear to be anything on com7 or com8.
I have resetretuned several times both before and after the transmitter work that was planned for 060618 but no difference.
Signal strength appears good (60-70) and quality at 100.
