By providing a full postcode (such as W1A 1AA), national grid reference (for example SE123456) or latitude, longitude pair (like 54, -0.5) this page will provide a map, terrain plot and detailed information of the location showing the UK and RoI television transmitters that it is possible you receive Freeview, Freeview HD, Youview, BT TV and Saorview from.

(Don't know your postcode? Find it at Post Office Postcode finder).

UK Free TV uniquely shows you transmitter coverage maps, aerial to transmitter terrain plots, the closest 10 mobile phone masts (for possible 5G-at-800 interference) as well as tabulated information (sorted by direction, by received signal strength, by frequency, by service names or by transmitter name).

Matthew: You could be receiving Freeview from either Emley Moor or Sheffield, if the former then COM6 / ArqB is Ch48 whereas from Sheffield its Ch39.

Belmont is also indicated as being possible in your area and its COM6 / ArqB is Ch60.

nick bowering: Could you give more information with regard to the services that you are unable to receive? That is Freeview, DAB/FM radio or satellite! Also what kind of receiver and aerial (or dish) are you using?

nick bowering: I should have said that assuming it is Freeview you are having trouble with , that you are expected to have excellent reception from Wenvoe when using a suitable aerial, and good reception from the Kings Weston relay, again with a suitable aerial.

I have lost reception of ITV 3. When I retuned, station vanished. I live near Saddleworth Transmitter. Any ideas?

Tried 48 and 30 channels appeared (800+ on guide) but none with decent signal strength (always up and down) will try 39 now ! Thanks

Matthew: Channel 39 has given me 0 channels but the ones have moved from the 800's to their correct places (although no channel names but I can see the listings on the EPG...)

Matthew: According to the terrain indicator the signals received in your area from both Emley Moor (@ 9.94 mls 302 degrees) / and Sheffield (@ 10.56 mls 192 degrees) are seen to suffer from obstructions starting from around 2 miles or so prior to your location, and with this being the likely reason why aerials in your locality are seen to be pointing at different angles, although Sheffield radiating on vertical polarity (elements up and down) would seem to be the preferred option by most.

Its really a case of which station your aerial is facing towards and where is it located? (loft or roof) remembering that if its mounted vertically (elements up and down) then that will be dedicated to Sheffield.

I would be inclined to carry out a "factory reset" on your TV or box then manually tune in Ch39 and storing the results, once completed use the "add channels" facility (if it has one) to capture the remaining Mux channels.

I have been watching Food Network on channel 48 via my freeview tv. Now shows no signal for that channel. Looking it up I see it has now moved to 41 - retuned and now 41 or 48 does not show anywhere.

Am in RG1 area and have chosen SouthEast. I can pick up all channels as far as I know except this one.
