By providing a full postcode (such as W1A 1AA), national grid reference (for example SE123456) or latitude, longitude pair (like 54, -0.5) this page will provide a map, terrain plot and detailed information of the location showing the UK and RoI television transmitters that it is possible you receive Freeview, Freeview HD, Youview, BT TV and Saorview from.

(Don't know your postcode? Find it at Post Office Postcode finder).

UK Free TV uniquely shows you transmitter coverage maps, aerial to transmitter terrain plots, the closest 10 mobile phone masts (for possible 5G-at-800 interference) as well as tabulated information (sorted by direction, by received signal strength, by frequency, by service names or by transmitter name).

Kate Lee: Judging by the Streetview photograph I wonder if your aerial is pointing to Crystal Palace, which means that you should select London. "South East" is Hannington, which is roughly the opposite direction.

Dave Lindsay: I know I have tried both as when I had virgin I got South East news and I dont want London. I get just as good signal with either London or Hannington! Not sure how I tell personally what way my aerial is facing as no nothing of North East direction etc! When channels reloaded 41 is missing completely

Kate Lee: Sorted it at last. Removed aerial cable, re scanned, input aerial cable and re scanned again. Now have all the channels and the Food Network on Channel 41!

Freeview gone again.

Last time it was a program guide problem (Sony RDR-HXD970) that Sony had to work around.

Symptoms identical this time - no EPG and message "This operation is not available at this time.".

Another EPG problem or is Tacolneston off air?

I live in Liverpool and have been experiencing problems with a Bush freeview recorder for a while now. I can watch all channels but in the description field for the name of the programme on the guide (for all BBC channels) it just says "no information available". I've retuned it, reset it but noting works. I can watch the channels ok, but because the name of the programme will not display, you are not able to record - any ideas? Thanks.
