By providing a full postcode (such as W1A 1AA), national grid reference (for example SE123456) or latitude, longitude pair (like 54, -0.5) this page will provide a map, terrain plot and detailed information of the location showing the UK and RoI television transmitters that it is possible you receive Freeview, Freeview HD, Youview, BT TV and Saorview from.
(Don't know your postcode? Find it at Post Office Postcode finder).
UK Free TV uniquely shows you transmitter coverage maps, aerial to transmitter terrain plots, the closest 10 mobile phone masts (for possible 5G-at-800 interference) as well as tabulated information (sorted by direction, by received signal strength, by frequency, by service names or by transmitter name).

Byron Weston:
No known problem with Mendip (at the time of writing), I'm on that and have no problems at present. The thunder storm may have caused problems with aerial amplifiers or water may have entered the coaxial cables from your aerial.
Check with neighbours to see if they have problems as well, but make sure they are talking about Freeview from Mendip and not any other transmitter and not about Freesat with a dish instead of an aerial.

Hello,
We are anretirement complex in Bewdley, DY12 1AZ. Our residents dont think they are getting many free view channels compared to others. Is there anything we can do to make this better.
Kind regards.
Karen Ellis.

BT Sport have offered free viewing for 2 weeks for Freeview customers. Followed instructions and tried manual tune ch57 to no avail - is there a reason BT have replied asking a couple of questions which I answered but no reply. Can you help I was going to subscribe to BT B/band so can view BT sport for nothing but if I can't receive it in my area there is no point - would be easier to get Sky bundle

Linda Dale: BT Sport 1 and BT Sport 2 are carried on one of the Commercial (COM) DTT multiplexes and therefore are not available from the Leek transmitter.
You may find that BT will allow you to view these services via the broadband connection, although I guess it might require this to be BT Infinity. You will have to enquire about this as I don't know for certain.

Linda Dale:I'm not sure why BT would tell you to manual tune to C57, as that number is the position in the channel list when you have already stored BT sports. Try a manual tune for C41, the frequency for the SDN mux from The Wrekin to see if there is any signal present. Unless you have local obstructions in the signal path you are predicted to have good reception on all muxes from THe Wrekin, that is of course when using a suitable aerial ie Group K mounted for horizontal polarisation.

Have no problem with any channel except Film4. Using Ridge Hill I have good strength indicated and EPG but nothing else. My parents in same area and neighbours have the same problem. Have tried several different sets and done full retune, to no avail. Have to watch +1 to see films. GL519TB
