Mellow Magic
Mellow Magic is a public digital radio station radio. UK Free TV shows the coverage area for a radio transmitter as a coloured overlay (orange for FM, other colours for DAB) on the grey map. We have computed the coverage by combining the terrain with the official radiation pattern. A single click will select the transmitter to view the coverage for a single site, and a double click goes to a page showing full details. Click on the buttons in the right-hand corner of the map to choose from different frequencies (or multiplexes for DAB).Mellow Magic multiplexes

A marsland: Mellow Magic is only available on DAB+ and online, it is not on Freeview or satellite.

StevensOnln1: I understood it is Magic Chilled which is/ will be on DAB+ ,with Mellow Magic on DAB.
Also, do you know when the transmitters in the South West are due to start transmitting, they are live but with no signal so I can only get Magic from Mendip on a good day.

A E Wheat: All of the additional transmitters were switched on several weeks ago. You may need to retune/rescan your radio if the stations are missing.

StevensOnln1: Thank you for your advice before Christmas, a retune did improve things but only slightly. However in early January the Digital 2 signal did increase to the level of Digital 1 (original Magic) which has made Mellow Magic OK in most parts of the property. Neither are as good as Smooth but I will have to live with that until the situation improves (if ever).

Mellow Magic is on the SDL National multiplex Block 11A 216.928 MHz.
Some of the transmitters are listed at the top of this page, so if you live near one of those you may get a coverage map by clicking on the Transmitters name. That list is not up-to-date.
Coverage details and location information for the transmitters is a bit thin on the ground. You may find the following links useful for transmitter locations -

The last site can also provide quite a lot of detailed technical information about DAB Radio.
You may unfortunately not live within the coverage area of all DAB multiplexes.
