Hi all!
Can I start by setting my location in context BT14 6NQ! My main TV set is a Toshiba UL863 with both DVB-T2 and DVB-S2 tuners and my HDD recorder is Humax HDR-FOX T2. I have always received good strong signals from Divis, Black Mountain and Clermont Carn and this has continued after DSO.
I have a bit of a problem with regard to Electronic Programme Guide from Freeview and Saorview from Clermont Carn both on the TV set and the Humax recorder. If I am on Freeview I cannot see details of programmes from Saorview and vice-versa. After-all all of the information for both services is being received from both transmitters; I would have thought that both sets of EPG data would be shown.
Am I expecting too much?

Noticed that myself on my Humax boxes Kieran.
I don't think there's anything you can do about it. It's the only issue on Humax receivers, as far as I can tell. The Humax PVRs can record Saorview and Freeview at the same time so there's no problem there.
The Sony STBs are much worse. No programme information on the EPG for exampler.

P. Kieran Ward: The EPG information for all Freeview channels is carried on all of them. Therefore if you are watching BBC, for example, the EPG information for ITV and Channel 4 will still be available.
Clearly it won't be available across the two platforms: Freeview and Saorview.
From what you describe, your receiver doesn't "take the initiative" and "look" for the EPG information on any other multiplex other than the one that it is currently tuned to.
I'm not a professional so don't know whether there is a way around this. On reading comments online, the Humax devices are well designed, so if they won't do it, then maybe nothing will do it.

Have a panasonic TH-42PZ81B tuned to claremount carn ch 53 but with the change to ch 52 I cannot retune to ch52 any body have a fix?

Adrian: Have you done a full reset?
I understand that the transmission power of CC went up at switchover, so could you have too high a signal level now? If so, this may likely show as too low a level or no signal.

Dave I didnot do a full reset as I had problems with the software on this tv before and i had to download a previous software version so I could recieve the Irish stations from claremount carn .
I believe this software problem is known by panasonic but they have not done anything to resolve it.
Because of this I tried to do a manual tune to channel 52 but only the radio stations are picked up .
I also have an LG tv and it retunes fine .

ADRIAN: I don't think that doing a factory reset would revert you back to the later firmware (software).
Once you have exhausted all other avenues, then a factory reset would appear to be the only thing left.
What options you have depend on the design. In some cases it is possible to delete individual multiplexes or services. Or running the scan through with the aerial unplugged may "blank" the memory. Perhaps due to the fact that the channels are/were tuned in on C53 that some remnant of this still remains in the memory and is preventing the C52 mux from working. I don't know exactly how it works, so that is just my thought and possible explanation should it turn out that a full reset does the trick.
