We are at SY3 8NW and have a clear view of the Wrekin - but whenever it rains (or is foggy) we loose some or all digital reception on both our PVR (Humax) and TV (Panasonic) (TV tends to loose it first). For example today (1/1/11) at 6pm we cannot get BBC 1 or 2 but ITV1,C4 and C5 are ok. Suggestions welcome.

Rob- It sounds as if you have water penetrating your aerial lead. If this is the case, I would contact an aerial contracter(CAI/RDI) sooner rather than later.

I live, as you have noted, in Wombourne. At present I receive from Wrekin B via a roof-mounted aerial. I note that Wrekin B will no longer be transmitting after switchover. Will Wrekin be my best transmitter, or where; and will I need to realign my aeerial?

Thanks again Briantist - I was confused by the fact that The Wrekin is shown on my page as being 28.0 km from my home, while Wrekin B is 28.1 km! Must be a very big mast!!
