How do I change the RF output channel on a Sky Digibox?
Press the [SERVICES] button and then press [4] [0] [1] then [SELECT]
Then press [4] to go to the RF output menu.
You can now change the value so that it does not clash with an analogue TV channel or a Freeview multiplex.
HD and "new EPG" boxes
If you have a HD box, press [SERVICES] button and then press [0] [0] [1] then [SELECT]. Nothing is shown on the TV screen until you press the Select button. Then use the [RIGHT] arrow button on the remote until this screen is shown, and press SELECT to change the values:

I have a digi sender that worked perfectly until a new sky+ box was installed. I have tried all the available scart on/off, rgb/pal options to no avail. Any possible solutions please.

Phil Hudson: Does the "digi sender" work OK with another device (Freeview box, DVD player)?

jas: The Magic Eye will only work the remote control (for that is what it does) if it connected on a one-to-one basis with the RF2 output.

jas: I take it that you are trying to change the channel on these second sets using the actual Sky boxes remote control that came with it, and not the TV's?
However, if it is the Sky remote you are using try the magic eye connected straight into the Sky box, temporarily placing something over the Sky boxes infra red pick up window so that "it" (the window) doesn't pick up directly from the remote.
Leave the magic eye "outlet" without anything connected to it for this test, but if the magic eye is found to work then try another test when the multi outlet box feed is connected to it, this to make sure that the red light still stays on.

brain yes followed those instructions that was the first protocol
i have checked the magic eye on all of them they all have the red led to indicate the signal is presen. i have then plugged them into the secondary tvs and get the image but again no control
pretty fuming as rang sky twice and both advisors had no answer. 1 said to get a replacement remote which they will charge 25.99 for. even though we are paying £70 a month

yes it works directly with the sky box
intresting enough we have 2 brands of magic eye, the 2 tvlink ones didnt work but the other magic eye does. the picture however is very poor when plugged through the magic eye, when connected without it its somewhat better
so the problem has been the magic eye itself.
next step, any idea on the best one to get?
