By providing a full postcode (such as W1A 1AA), national grid reference (for example SE123456) or latitude, longitude pair (like 54, -0.5) this page will provide a map, terrain plot and detailed information of the location showing the UK and RoI television transmitters that it is possible you receive Freeview, Freeview HD, Youview, BT TV and Saorview from.
(Don't know your postcode? Find it at Post Office Postcode finder).
UK Free TV uniquely shows you transmitter coverage maps, aerial to transmitter terrain plots, the closest 10 mobile phone masts (for possible 5G-at-800 interference) as well as tabulated information (sorted by direction, by received signal strength, by frequency, by service names or by transmitter name).

Joyce Langley: Has your reception returned to normal now? If it has, the problem was caused by weather conditions causing distant transmissions to interfere with your local signals. The weather has now changed, resulting in there now being no prediction for long distance reception in the South of England at the present time.

How do you make music requests from the USA to play on the Dromore station? Do you do that sort of thing? Thanks.

OK sorted. Needed to manually tune TV. Autotune was picking up more transmitters than needed and having both was blocking the one program perhaps?

Hi, Please could you tell me whether I'm ever going to get ITV3 on freeview at BN7 2FA?
I'm in a block of flats and the aerial is facing Newhaven on the side near the top

Bridget Mutter: No, ITV3 isn't likely to be broadcast from Newhaven transmitter. You don't appear to be in with a shot of receiving from a full-service transmitter (which would give all the channels, including ITV3).
You might wish to look at getting Freesat, assuming that you have a satellite dish fitted, or are allowed to fit one.

Re Rowridge Transmitter
My postcode is BH21 3TN
Over the last few weeks the quality of the signal on Channel 28 have been poor hence the stations broadcast on that channel have been braking up.
Reception on all other channel has been and continues to be very good.
I wondered if you were aware of the situation and if so do you have any advice as to what I may do to remedy it. I have carried out the rescan of my TV inline with the instructions as outlined on your website.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Kind regards,
Tony Lawson

Tony Lawson: As nothing has been reported as far as any faults being in existence with Rowridge's BBC mux, have you as yet checked with any of your neighbours to find out if the problem referred to is also being experienced by others or is simply confined to your own installation?
However, should it subsequently be found that your neighbour is not experiencing any difficulties with BBC reception then the question would be if your aerial is mounted horizontally or vertically? because if the former then you might benefit from it being swivelled around to the vertical position as in some instances this has been found to help in situations such as yours, (only with Rowridge) although any difference that is noticed should be far greater on the commercial channels (although not the subject of your query) as Rowridge transmits at maximum power across all muxes on this polarity, i.e.: 200kw V / 50Kw H.

Tony Lawson: Although that said still applies as far as Ch28 is concerned, but ignore my reference to Rowridges BBC mux.
Trying to do things at the same time!

I live at GL51 0QJ and can't get any COM 5 & 6 channels on Youview (Humax box) ? COM 4 channels appear but are weak (40% signal quality). We should be receiving from Ridge Hill and new roof aerial has been set horizontal and pointing towards Ridge Hill. Youview only let's you select 'Gloucestershire Central' or 'Gloucestershire West' without naming the transmitters. I've selected 'Central' which seems to be Ridge Hill. Any ideas why I can't receive COM 5 & 6 ?
