Anita Jones:

If you look at the information about digital reception using the blue digitaluk trade box below you initial posting, you will see that at yiour location COM8 is expected to be poorly received, as are the SDN, ArqA and ArqB multiplexes. These all use horizontal polarisation ( aerial rods horizontal). However, better rception is expected for the latter if you use Vertical polarisation by rotating the aerial rods to be up&down. COM7 and COM8 are not available on the vertical transmissions.

If you want to keep COM7 HD services by keeping your aerial set for horizontal, then you will have to accept that COM8 will be variable.

It has been suggested that COM7 and COM8 may well cease in the next couple of years or so when the services are likely to be transferred to other multiplexes as the frequencies used are changed.

Hello,
I have been receiving Vintage TV Music channel until recently. I was notified by Freeview that my television would need retuning on the 27th February.
I proceeded to retune my television on this date, following all the instructions on the screen.
Unfortunately, my Vintage TV channel on 82 was lost. I can no longer receive it.
Please advise me how to retrieve this.
TIA

Regards
Glynis

Hello,
I was able to watch Vintage TV channel until very recently.
On mid March I got problems receiving a few channels.
After performing a full retune of the TV I have recovered some of the lost channels, but unfortunately the Vintage channel was lost.
I have noticed that the only COM7 channel I can watch is CBS Drama
My postcode is: TW8 0EA
I guess that the antenna is receiving the signal from Crystal Palace, but it is a communal antenna and I don't really know.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
