Scott.Saturday 3 September 2011,9.20am.That is true,the group C/D aerials normally works between frequencies 48 and 68,some superior quality group C/D Yagi and X-beam antennas can work as low down as fr 41,but as low down as fr 37 is pushing the boat out a wee bit !

The details for Belmont need altering,ArqA and ArqB are now both broadcasting on 100kw apiece,yet it still displays 4kw apiece.

Adrian.Hambleton,Poulton-Le-Fylde.For the main Winter Hill transmitter you need either a group C/D Yagi 18C/D,or preferably at your new location a group E X-Beam XB16E aerial.As Dave Lindsay rightfully suggests looking at the ATV Sheffield website is worth recommending,and even more recommending on my part is if you do decide to purchase a new outdoor antenna buy it from ATV (Aerials & Television) of Sheffield believe me they are the best,forget the rest,don't bother buying from DIY stores,most of them from the likes of B&Q,Wickes,Argos,etc,they're all inferior group W wideband aerials.Also i'd recommend buying from ATV Sheffield superior quality black (preferably) coloured satellite grade copper-copper co-ax cable and only brass co-ax plugs.

AD & SpLint.Look up inversion effect.The high pressure presently above much of the UK (as at Mon 16 Jan 2012) is the cause of the problems you're experiencing at present,by Wednesday (18 Jan 2012) when low pressure is due to sweep in the problems will abate by then.Hopefully when analogue TV totally disappears from the UK airwaves after Wednesday 24 October 2012 the atmospherics/inversion issues will become less of a problem and possibly disappear completely after that,i will see it to believe it by then.

Mel P.Look up inversion effect,that is the cause of yer difficulties at present.There is high pressure over much of the UK at present including over Maidstone.There are no transmitter problems around ya location as such,just atmospherics/inversion that is causing your difficulties at this moment in time in your location.

Sheila.First of all you did not leave a full postcode,without this information we cannot be of much assistance to you.Second Pick TV which you mentioned has disappeared from programme channel 11 (ArqA multiplex),is still there according to my freeview box,as i just checked it myself minutes earlier.
