Sadly, I am unable to offer this personal service at the moment.

Until I can restore this service, please can you leave any questions you have on an appropriate page, where they will be answered as soon as possible, or below, if you can't figure out where to ask.

G cooksey (A) You cannot connect a Satellite dish to a "Freeview" receiver. You can connect to a "Freesat" SKY or an FTA (Free to Air) Satellite receiver. (B) You cannot splice the satellite cable and standard aerial cable as you suggest. Can you run an external cable(s) from a Satellite dish externally and then make an entry to the point where your TV and Sat receiver are located? If your locus and your property is suitable it might be possible to ground site your dish.

P.JONES: If the set has any "enhancement" facilities, in particular, "sharpening" please turn it off on the set.

Paul: Not much to go on there, for general information I would have a look at Single frequency interference | ukfree.tv - independent free digital TV advice .

Posted the other day about this the mobilizer text service has closed and been removed from MUX A however its still in your website's channel list in the text section.

Its even says on DMOL's website home page that its gone.

Check the latest section in the top corner of dmol website.

Kevinio: Basically yes! as a dish set up to receive 28.2 degrees UK channels will work with any Sky box, as the box doesnt discriminate against any dish being used with it.

Brian: Don't forget that switchover 'ends' at Belmont, Oliver's Mount and relays tonight.

("Ends" because while Mux C and D switch mode and move to final channels, they only get a 3 dB power increase, not to final levels until 23 November, due to the clash with Tacolneston.).
