How do I change the RF output channel on a Sky Digibox?
Press the [SERVICES] button and then press [4] [0] [1] then [SELECT]
Then press [4] to go to the RF output menu.
You can now change the value so that it does not clash with an analogue TV channel or a Freeview multiplex.
HD and "new EPG" boxes
If you have a HD box, press [SERVICES] button and then press [0] [0] [1] then [SELECT]. Nothing is shown on the TV screen until you press the Select button. Then use the [RIGHT] arrow button on the remote until this screen is shown, and press SELECT to change the values:

ive had sky hd for a year and have the magic eye around the house.
i can still see the picture on the other tvs but cant control the channel?
checked the magic eye which has it red led and the fact the picture is there doesnt quite make sense why it cant be controlled?
any ideas?

i got a pace 2200 sky box off my neighbour and managed to get a brand new sky dish with quad lnb
ive tried a self install using a borrowed sat finder but dont seem to be getting a signal
my neighbour recently upgraded to multiroom and a new box was installed in the living room and then box from the living room was installed in his extension the box he gave me was originally in the living room before it was upgraded with a new box
could it be that the pace box needs connected to his dish and rebooted so that it works if its been unplugged for a while?
also because the dish is new does the lnb need booted or installed or anything
the finder is showing a strong signal(mounted on a ground pole) but the receiver says no signal found and the signal level is only about 1/4 and locked is blank
what am i doing wrong? or will i have to admit defeat and call in an installer to set the dish ive got coax and f plugs and everything except for a blasted signal!

Donald it is not that easy to line up a dish, there are quiet a few satellites up there and those cheap sat finders dont tell you what satellite you are locked on to. If you have put it up ok just bite the bullet and call a proper rigger it should only take him a short time to line it up .

Andy Thompson: Are you referring to the red LED on the box, or maybe one on a Sky magic eye controller?
If by any chance its the latter, then does it light up when connected directly into the Sky boxes RF2 output, of course making sure you have switched the power on as is shown in the illustration at the head of this page.
Is the box working apart from the light problem? because if it is, then either the eye is faulty or its the boxes power supply to it. (can happen!)

In reply to Mazbar, I lined mine up within 5 minutes, without a satfinder.

jas: Is there only one device - the magic eye - on the RF2 connection of the Sky box? I presume this is the case if the red LED is showing on the device.

Hi Briantist
the rf out 2 goes to a multi connection box, with aerials going into tvs in the bedroom and kitchen.
so the inlet to the tv has an aerial which is then connected to the magic eye. when the signal is present the red led on the magic eye lights up.
currently i have a pciture on the tv but cant change the channel? could be linked to digital switchover?
