By providing a full postcode (such as W1A 1AA), national grid reference (for example SE123456) or latitude, longitude pair (like 54, -0.5) this page will provide a map, terrain plot and detailed information of the location showing the UK and RoI television transmitters that it is possible you receive Freeview, Freeview HD, Youview, BT TV and Saorview from.
(Don't know your postcode? Find it at Post Office Postcode finder).
UK Free TV uniquely shows you transmitter coverage maps, aerial to transmitter terrain plots, the closest 10 mobile phone masts (for possible 5G-at-800 interference) as well as tabulated information (sorted by direction, by received signal strength, by frequency, by service names or by transmitter name).

Mrs h: The problem is most likely due to the COM muxes from Durris (the transmitter that serves Fyvie) currently sharing frequencies with Knock More. DUK do not make a prediction for reception of the COM muxes at your inlaw's postcode because it is likely that in the event of a signal from Knock More being present it would block reception of the signals from Durris. In practice, it would appear that it is sometimes possible to receive the COM muxes from Durris, but at other times reception is lost. If the services are still listed in the channel list, but signal quality is shown as poor when doing a signal check there is not a lot can be done, unless repositioning of the aerial is attempted and is fortunate in finding a null for the unwanted Knock More signals. If the services have been lost when attempting to do a retune, try doing a manual tune on C23 for the SDN multiplex which carries ITV3. Similarly C26 for Sky News or C29 for Film4 if either of those is also missing.

now only get 8 freeview channels, and they are at the low end of the spectrum. anything higher (high end of Specrum) is NO Signal indication. This has only occurred in the last month or so. Many of mt nearby neighbors are also wondering what is going on.

Carshalton
Hi,
I live in Carshalton Surrey and this morning I lost most of my freeview channels and ITV stations. I have a new aerial so that isn't the problem. I have tried retuning - that isn't the problem. I was warned that this 4G at 800 could cause problems and I would need a filter whose going to pay for it and fit it - however I have no idea who to contact - as this problem is caused by the 4G mobile people surely they should rectify this problem. I am an OAP and my television is an integral part of my day.

Penny Kempin: You *ARE* in a 4G roll out area.
Also, you *ARE* very close to a mobile phone mast. There's is one 160 meters away, and another 660 meters away, between you and the Crystal Palace transmitter.
You can contact the people responsible - at800 - for filter provision and fitting by calling 0808 13 13 800 (free from a landline) or 0333 31 31 800 (from a mobile phone).
However, if you have not had a card though the post yet it is quite possible that your interference is not related to 4G provision.

If the location is right there are no 4G masts active in this area.

Hi ive posted a few enquiries but can never find answers , i am having quite a few people now complaining of signal loss on their freeview , we are in the KA21 and KA22 area using Darvel transmitter , some of these i installed a while ago and others quite recently , on inspection using my meter i found the signal failing on Mux 23.26.29 also the signal on mux 21 [ Divis ] is superb but i just manually skip and install Darvels muxes , we have 4 mast around us one of which is EE , p.s. is there a number i can call?

Alex Gibb: There have been replies to your earlier postings:

The COMs aren't "guaranteed" to be available reliably where the PSBs are. In some cases they are limited by interference from other transmitters.
Follow the link above. jb38 is an expert and, in summary, says there probably is no answer.

Alex Gibb: Just to add, the current 4G EE service can't effect Freeview, it's at 1800MHz. Do I need a filter to protect my Freeview from Everything Everywhere 4G masts? | 4G-at-800 | ukfree.tv - 10 years of independent, free digital TV advice .
I'm quite sure that there have been no 4G EE 1800MHz services in your area.
