True Entertainment

gavin aldridge: If your computer has a Freeview tuner stick/card connected to an aerial you can. True Entertainment doesn't seem to have an online catchup service.

Roger Scott: COM7 & COM8 had to be moved in order to free up UHF channels 31-37 in so that they can be used for services that were previously broadcast in the 700MHz band. COM7 & COM8 have been moved to UHF channels 55 & 56 which form the centre gap between the uplink and downlink frequencies that will be used by 5G mobile services, therefore allowing COM7 & COM8 to continue beyond the completion of the 700MHz clearance program (no date has been confirmed for when COM7 & COM8 will eventually close although 2022 has been suggested).

The London local mux is due to get a power increase on 18th April (frequency changes are taking place at various relays in London as well as neighbouring regions on this date). If you don't have satellite or cable you may be eligible to have a wideband aerial fitted free of charge to restore the channels which are now outside the frequency range of your Group A aerial (contact the Freeview Advice link via the link below to arrange).

Margaret: Being able to watch iPlayer or Amazon over the internet doesn't prove that there is no problem with your aerial system which has nothing to do with wifi. Please provide a full postcode so that we can see your predicted coverage at your location.

RICHARD STEHR: Those signal strengths are a bit low. Given that your neighbour is using the same transmitter without any problem, that would suggest that there is a fault with your aerial system, perhaps damage caused by the bad weather over the last few weeks.

barbara bannister: ITV3 moved multiplex just over a week ago. If you retune it should reappear on channel 10.

mrs towler: ITV3 recently moved multiplex, retuning should restore it on channel 10.

Mike: Which make and model of PVR do you have?

john: It won't. It is being reported elsewhere that the BT Showcase channel is closing as BT are no longer required to show any free football matches on Freeview (some matches will be available to watch for free via BT Sport's website etc).

C Thornton: Every transmitter broadcasts BBC 1 HD, BBC 2 HD, ITV HD, Channel 4 HD, Channel 5 HD & CBBC HD (all 1,100+ of them). Which model of Samsung TV do you have?

Shahbaz: Tiny Pop is broadcast on the local TV multiplexes and is only available in areas that have a local TV station on either channel 7 or 8. If you provide a full postcode we can check if it should be available at your location.

BBC Four HD
Monday 9 April 2018 11:38PM

Stuart: Your TV is not obsolete. If it could receive BBC Four HD before the frequency change then it is still capable of receiving it now. You most likely have a Group A aerial which is not designed to receive the higher frequencies that the COM7 & COM8 multiplexes are now using at Crystal Palace. If you don't have satellite or cable you may be eligible to have a replacement wideband aerial fitted free of charge, which can be arranged by contacting the Freeview Advice Line (see link below).
