Glyn Jones: Try asking the broadcaster, this isn't their website and no one here has any control or influence over which programs are shown on any channel.

Jonathan: Have you contacted the Freeview Advice Line? They can arrange for a replacement wideband aerial to be fitted free of charge if you don't have satellite or cable.

Chris Benson: According to Digital UK there is a retune on 23rd October, however no multiplexes are closing on that date (the only changes are COM8 moving to UHF channel 56 and the local mux moving to UHF 39). There is a further retune due early next year (no date has yet been announced) when COM4, COM5 and COM7 will be moving.

john: Do you mean that you're using a the Freesat from Sky service (i.e. a Sky box with viewing card but no subscription)? Have you checked for any loose or damaged cables or connections? Have you tried turning the box off at the mains for 5-10 minutes, then turning it back on?

CARL READE: Nothing has been announced yet as to whether any of the broadcasters will move any of their channels on COM7/8 to another multiplex. If more muxes convert to DVB-T2 there would be space for all of them to move and gain more coverage, although this would come at an increased cost to the broadcasters, which not all may be willing or able to afford.

paul Sproule: There are no known plans for any additional services to be broadcast from Strabane. If you provide a full postcode we can check if you might be able to receive more channels from another transmitter.

terence miller: The best aerial is generally one mounted on the roof and pointed at the transmitter that provides the strongest signal (if you provide a full postcode we can advise which one that is likely to be at your location). An indoor aerial may work if you're in a strong signal area close to a transmitter.
