margaret swannack: If you're referring to the former True channels, which were rebranded as Sony, the reduction in coverage was a decision taken by the broadcaster. It is only Sony who can decide to increase the coverage of their channels again, which would require paying for capacity on a multiplex with wider coverage (if there is even any space available) and technical changes which would require many viewers to retune in order to receive the channels (such changes are unlikely to be made during the current public health crisis). In short, the chances of that happening are probably very low right now.

Starz

Robert: Where does it say that Starz is available on Freeview? I can't see anything saying that on this page, it only mentions the channel being available via satellite.

Chelsea : We need a full postcode in order to see the predicted reception at your location (Northampton isn't accurate enough) to determine whether Sandy Heath is likely to be receivable and the compass bearing to point your aerial.

ITV 3 +1

Barbara Goodyear: ITV3 +1 shares capacity with CITV channel on Freeview, so ITV3 +1 is only broadcast later in the evening after CITV closes at 9pm, until CITV starts again in the morning.

Terry Squire : Bristol is much too far away to receive Radio Shropshire on DAB. You can listen online at Radio Shropshire - Listen Live - BBC Sounds

BBC One HD
Wednesday 6 May 2020 10:44PM

Richard P: There are no regional versions of BBC One HD in England, this is down to the huge cost of equipping not just the regional news studios, but the whole transmission chain in each region for HD, in order to show only 1-2 hours of regional news and other non-national programmes each day. It will probably only be when a date is set for BBC One SD regions to close that we will start to see anything other than perhaps a handful of the larger/more highly populated regions be made available in HD.

Murray Snudge: Starz was removed from the Freesat EPG at the end of April, presumably the broadcaster no longer wishes to pay the listing fee. The channel is still broadcasting manually and can be tuned in manually on most satellite receivers.
