By providing a full postcode (such as W1A 1AA), national grid reference (for example SE123456) or latitude, longitude pair (like 54, -0.5) this page will provide a map, terrain plot and detailed information of the location showing the UK and RoI television transmitters that it is possible you receive Freeview, Freeview HD, Youview, BT TV and Saorview from.
(Don't know your postcode? Find it at Post Office Postcode finder).
UK Free TV uniquely shows you transmitter coverage maps, aerial to transmitter terrain plots, the closest 10 mobile phone masts (for possible 5G-at-800 interference) as well as tabulated information (sorted by direction, by received signal strength, by frequency, by service names or by transmitter name).

In your list of Freeview channels available from the Newhaven transmitter, you do not list or mention ITV3, which by pure accident I discovered is now available in this area after a retune. It is on channel 10. I discovered it accidentally and there had been no messages on the screen advising a retune or that another programme was no available.

Douglas Denhart: London Live is now on UHF channel 35.
Ian Farrow: ITV3 appeared as a test on the PSB2 multiplex which is available from all transmitter several weeks ago, however it only moved to EPG position 10 a few days ago.

My Post Code is NN12 7TN and I use the Sandy Heath transmissions.
Looking through my channel list recently I came across Sewing Quarter on channel 794 with EPG info stating Rescan Now. However, clicking on the channel brings up "Data only" (or similar) and then a page stating the channel has moved and a rescan is need. However, rescanning does not show any change whatsoever, with Sewing Quarter still appearing as channel 794, etcetera as before.
Can anyone offer an explanation regarding Sewing Quarter? Is it an active Freeview channel or Pay-per-View - or what? Any advice will be welcomed, if only to placate my wife whose is interested in sewing related matters!
Regards
Bill W

William WALLACE: Sewing Quarter can be found on channel 78. The caption you're seeing on 794 is to tell viewers to retune to get the channel back on 78 as it moved multiplex earlier this week.

For StevensOnln1.
Thanks for that - although I discovered the program on channel 78 after I'd posted. However, since it appears to be only an online sales channel, it was hardly worth the effort because my wife was hoping for sewing demos, etc.
Cheers and thanks again.

Karl Draper:
Please look at ythe Digital UK predictions for you area at Coverage Checker - Detailed View This shows that Channels 55 and 31 are expected to be problematical at your location.
May be worth trying an adjustable amplifier providing that non of you current reception is of greater than 85% strength.
