All the other transmitters will have Freeview HD at switchover.
The "advanced service" is on unknown frequencies, so it is possible that there might be different coverage to standard Freeview and a wideband aerial might be required. The advanced services will move to their correct frequencies at switch-over.
You will need an HDTV and a new Freeview HD box to view the service, and a roof top aerial will be essential.

jack guest: According to the Digital UK postcode checker you should already be able to receive the low power Freeview HD service which along with analogue Channel five, is transmitted from Lichfield on C34. As you say the high power HD service from Sutton Coldfield starts at switchover on 21st September. It may be of interest that you should also be able to receive Freeview HD on C30- from Lark Stoke as from 20th April 2011.

Thanks KMJ,
I am still a little confused. I cant work out where the lichfield transmitter is but it looks like its near to Sutton coldfield. Is it right that if I can get C5 analogue then that is coming from lichfield and means I should be able to get HD ? I have been trying but no luck on the HD channels although I can pick up 81 normal freeview ones so that seems goo? I tried turning the antenna to larkstoke but got nothing so i think it is blocked from where I live.
thanks

I've just got a Freeview HD TV but don't see any HD channels :( I am postcode DN5 7AL, but the aerial points to Belmont not Emley Moor as it received a better signal years ago, and its in the loft as roof access is difficult apparently. When does Belmont get HD channels, and can I still get it from the attic with the booster I have?
Currently, signal strength is high for freeview, according to my TV. Thanks in advance.
